I agree with everyone, your hair is so cute! Your finishes are beautiful, love the little pillows! It is a shame that Hobby Lobby framed your pieces so close that some of your stitching is covered! It may be worth asking them to re-frame them. I just loved hearing about the DTS retreat, as I was so very disappointed that I didn’t get in! I suppose I would have had to cancel anyway, but that was on my bucket list. I am sad that I will likely never meet Alma! Your retreat projects are amazing! You really have wonderful purchases, and I really love the linens! I am praying for sweet Graham, and hope that his procedure goes well.

Praying for sweet little Graham and you all and for a miracle for him. I had the best time ever at Dyeing to Stitches retreat a couple of years ago with Brenda Gervais, Pat, Ann, and all our wonderful stitching friends so I know you had the best time ever. Your pillows turned out just beautifully and I love all the pieces you are stitching on too. I would go back to Hobby Lobby and ask them nicely to please redo those two pieces and give it a bit more border. I know several flosstubers that have had to do that. I hate that happened to your beautiful work. I use a framer that I drive 1 1/2 hours one way and it is so worth the trip as he laces and does beautiful work. Sending hugs and prayers to you all. All hopes and best thoughts for Graham’s health to improve. Wise decision to get such a lovely green fabric for your PeaCorn stitch. I wouldn’t exactly look forward to all that full coverage stitching either. I’m about to start stitching snowflake ornaments on even weave monk’s cloth for all my family members - thank goodness there aren’t all that many of us LOL. After an 18 hour surgery with 5 specialists in the OR with her, and 9 months of aggressive chemo and proton therapy treatments, we are just 3 years in from initial diagnosis and she is doing great. A miracle baby girl was born to them a year ago, making us first time grandparents so we are eternally grateful. You and I have another common thread-my son is an anesthesiologist specializing in pediatric heart procedures at Seattle Childrens, so I can relate to much of what your sweet Graham has and is undergoing. Continued prayers for your little guy, Holly.

Lovely video! I have a suggestion for your talk with the framer - the linen weave has stretch one way so when your framer measured, she may not have stretched it to allow for that movement when she pinned or laced. That is what I think happened. She started pinning and stretched it to the point of using up your margin. Help them learn from a stitcher and show them to pull tightly as they measure for the frame size. ❤ prayers for graham.

I agree with everyone, your hair is so cute! Your finishes are beautiful, love the little pillows! It is a shame that Hobby Lobby framed your pieces so close that some of your stitching is covered! It may be worth asking them to re-frame them. I just loved hearing about the DTS retreat, as I was so very disappointed that I didn’t get in! I suppose I would have had to cancel anyway, but that was on my bucket list. I am sad that I will likely never meet Alma! Your retreat projects are amazing! You really have wonderful purchases, and I really love the linens! I am praying for sweet Graham, and hope that his procedure goes well.
