Wow I can't believe how much you've already managed on your animal panorama piece in just 2 weeks... and all the other stitching along with 2 little kids, hubby, the house AND work and general life... How the heck do you manage it? I'm lucky if I get an hour to stitch after work these days 😢 that's when I'm well enough to stitch 😂

I think it was about a weeks worth of stitching on nothing else, I’m really enjoying it 😍 and I’m lucky enough to be able to stitch at work some days, so it’s often 2-3 hours of stitching in a go. Once the kids are in bed there’s nothing but stitching happening round here! xx

It’s a bit confusing/overwhelming at first but if you head to the events page and click on some of the posts under there you can get a pretty good idea of how it works ☺️

I visited create nostalgia and nimble thimble on Thursday for the first time too! Spent an actual fortune in both 🙈 create nostalgia was definitely my favourite though. Didn’t see a turtle 😂

I had one of my twins with me (the other stayed in the car with her dad 😂) and they were fussing over her and asking her questions and giving her chocolate. It was the complete opposite reaction in the nimble thimble despite her being impeccably well behaved (for once🙊). She even told her to be quiet!

How do you like a Q-snap vs Nurge for a hoop?

I like to work with them both equally to be honest, the deciding factor for me is how long I plan on having the project in the hoop. The big full coverage won’t need moving for quite some time so I’m happy to leave it in the q snap (as it’s not as easy to take projects in/out of, and doesn’t leave as harsh a crease in the fabric) whereas the smaller projects will be swapped often and I much prefer taking things in and out of a nurge hoop x
