Hi Amanda, I’m watching one of your older KZbin where you just got over a migraine and I can totally sympathize!🤗 My daughter has them since she was 12(37 now), what a nightmare! I live in Toronto and I don’t have any stitchy friends, my friends roll their eyes when I talk about cross stitch and my family leave the room😂. But I have two new best friends now, you and Needleberry stitcher. I spent many hours a day enjoying your “company”! Hopefully your migraines will go away for good! Isabela

I was rewatching the mill hill portion and realized I hadn't commented. The problem I see with just wrapping it up is that the next "2 column's" could be awesome releases! I've just been gathering the ones that really strike my fancy, but then I see another, and another... Because I'm starting so much later, mine will probably wind up being smaller. Yours is so inspiring!
@luckychancestitcher Жыл бұрын
Yeah, that's my worry. Although, the only houses that I would be disappointed missing are a candy shop and a pet store, and I think they have done both of those in the main street series. So highly unlikely it will show up In the christmas village series. I will wait and see where I'm at once I start the beading. Good luck with yours!

This was so enjoyable to watch. All the pieces are beautiful. I am going to be stitching the advent animals for my great niece. You did a great finish. Your kids loving it makes it worth it. It is fun to watch someone stitching different pieces the - not the same patterns everyone else is doing. The Xmas tree skirt is so pretty. Merry Christmas 🎄 🎅 🤶

Amanda! Merry Christmas! 🎄❤️❄️ All your Christmas FFO's look awesome! 🎅😻 I think I'll start Jingle Pals tomorrow. I love the Ruth Morehead Holly Babe stocking with the mouse! That's the stocking I stitched for myself when I was 17 or so. You know my taste. 😂

So many wonderful Christmas pieces! I really like your advent tree wall hanging. If I stitched nothing else, it would be Christmas charts. Your tree skirt is definitely not tacky. 😂 All of what you choose to stitch is either cute or fancy. 😊 I'm sorry about your cat's choice of location to throw up. Have you heard of My Pet Peed spray? I'd hope it's available to ship to Canada. I thought it was a little expensive, but I purchased a gallon and a spray bottle since we have three dogs. I'm guessing it probably wouldnt be great to use on needlework, but it works much better than oxyclean for removing pet stains and odors. It hasn't bleached my upholstery, thankfully. It has a faint odor when sprayed, but diminishes. I even had a carton of eggs get crushed in the back of my SUV and as much as my husband said he cleaned it up, it stunk like garbage. I sprayed My Pet Peed on it; right away it started bubbling and the odor was gone in a day. Merry Christmas to you and your family 🎄 🪡

@@luckychancestitcher YW! Our floors would be a nightmare if we had carpet! It's hard enough keeping the tile clean with the Great Dane's huge paws. I forgot to mention thanks for giving the story behind Santa of the Forest. Marilyn Leavitt Imblum designs were the designs that really spurred my interest with cross stitching as my main hobby. 😊

Merry Christmas, Amanda! Love seeing all the Christmas stitching, especially the stockings, of course! I appreciated hearing about the different techniques you've tried for finishing your stockings. Finishing is not my strong suit, so I'll take any tips I can find. I may consider gluing cording because I've struggled with that and only use it if it's a stocking for a real person. The Brooke's Books Advent Animals really have to move up on my priority list. Santa of the Forest is stunning! And I loved the backstory about the piece. Happy New Year! --Deb

The piece that the cat puked on, could you unpick the stained bit and restitch it. If there is white unstitched bits, just fill in with white floss. Loved your video.
@luckychancestitcher Жыл бұрын
I thought about that but I don't have enough of the dimensions floss to re stitch and the reds are quite different when converted to dmc.
