Your "Always my Mother" project is just beautiful! It's one of my favorites you've finished, and such a touching memorial for your Mom. I love your monthly theme idea, and would definitely participate in several months. Lastly I love your Little Golden Book Journals!

Yay! I’m so excited for Flossnukkah! I have a bunch of small Hanukkah stitches I’m going to start for funsies. The Peter Underhill piece you did in honor of your mom is beautiful. Excited for your themes for 2023. I’ll totally join in on several of them. I think the Journal you made for yourself is rad, and I hope you do finish some pieces in it. You should absolutely make a Little Golden Book Journal for yourself too with whatever book from your amazing stash of them you want. Habe a lovely week!

As always, I love your videos and the longer the better! We're supposed to get pouring rain tomorrow... Lol. I don't remember you saying anything like you're getting pouring rain. It would certainly be an honor to receive a Golden Book from you. Any book with cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, and birds like Woodstock. I love pinks, purples, flowers, trees and hearts. Looking forward to your Hanukkah videos... Have a wonderful day enjoying the rain!! Love and hugs!! 😘😽❤❤

Hi Karla! Congrats on your emotional remembrance piece for your mom. It turned out beautiful. Frog Dancer is turning out so cute! You are about the same percent as I am on the biscornu but I doubt I will finish it this year. I just have not felt like stitching lately between watching Walter who has been extra clingy or super active so he has this old grandma running for short bursts so he has go over the speed bumps at grandma run speed instead of just being wheeled over them since he is all of the sudden big into his stroller. If it is not that, he is running a full speed around the building so grandma has to chase after him so he doesn't run out into the road. It takes me a full day to recover at least. Then I have been sick for a couple weeks, not down and out sick just feel drained of all energy sick. Finally hauled all the stuff out of the storage bin to put up Christmas decorations, although it will be a slow go since mom is recovering from bronchitis and the breathing treatments make her feel real shaky and unsteady. Wow, you are so close to finishing the chipmunk. Beautiful progress on your Chatelaine. At the rate you are progressing on this, I anticipate a 2023 finish of it. Wow, you did almost finish Peace and Light last night! It is so nice! Whoa, just had a really low flying copter at 2:46 a.m. Lot of noise for this time of morning in this area. A framing option for you with Pinkie and Blue Boy, depending on size when finished, might be to do another canvas finish instead of framing and that way you would not have to buy 2 frames, cut them apart, etc. Man, was Google ever hot and heavy with the ads today, about every 10 minutes! Great plans. One thing to consider for next year might be, if you continue with the themes, is to designate the themes for the months but only fully plan out the first 6 months semi-fully so that when May rolls around you can reassess where you are at in terms of WIPs, how you are feeling about things, etc. and it would give you an option to do more new starts if you want to, change the pieces in the themes, etc. Happy stitching until next week.

Hi Dawn - make sure that little guy does not run you too ragged :-)! I did finish Peace and Light yesterday after making my video. I really think I can get the Chipmonk, the Frog and Sweet William finished before the end of the year... and maybe Gigi too! I am on a roll.

Hi Karla! I love the tribute piece to your mom. My mom’s name was Rose and she loved roses, too. I made a wipgo board with themes rather than specific projects. I found that too restricting. So, I have themes like Christmas, Hallowe’en, full coverage, etc. I have enough projects within those categories to choose from. I am looking forward to flossnukah very much! See you next week, Karla!🕎💜

Thank you Laura. I finished Peace and Light last night and then worked on Sweet William which I think is just a few days away from a finish - so I think I will get at least one or two more done before the end of the year - probably not the full coverage but that was a reach anyway.

Always My Mother is gorgeous. I love where you put the charm. That is where I thought it would look good at. I would consider it an honor to own one of your Little Golden Book. I love Winnie The Pooh. I think I would want you to do anything you want to for it. I love greens, purples, and reds. I cross stitch, knit, crochet, needlepoint, and see hand and machine. Love your nails! The frog is so adorable. Beautiful stitching. I love the pixie with the background, it looks just like she is where she would be for real. Have a terrific week.

You're welcome on the Chatelaine enabling. Sorry I'm so far behind on watching YT. I also have it on random so I'm not actually a full two months behind. I am happy to finally see the episode where you finished the piece for your mom. I knew it was done, but I appreciated hearing the story of the finish.

Watching KZbin on Random would drive me nuts :-). since youa re so close to a finish on your Chatelaine which one are you going to start next? Or did you already start another one - I can't remember...

@@karlabeingcrafty1089 both. I started Oriental Harem last year or the year before. Once I finish Herbularius, I am starting Alpine Garden. Dena (Half Stitch on FT) has already started hers, but she hasn't worked on it in years. She's waiting for me to finish Herbie so I can start Alpine and she will pull hers back out. I have no idea which one I'll start after that though. I don't have one screaming at me currently, but I have a few ready to go (other than fabric).

Yes I was grumbling at you....just kidding! This pattern is so little that the backstitch is not very extensive. I should finish it tonight !! Yay! I tried to put our initials on it but it looked awful so that got pulled out! I guess I will just make a note on the back of the finished piece or something :-)
