Loved spending some time with you my friend! I looked up when you said "practice makes perfect" and my mom stitched that EXACT piece for me and turned it into a pillow!! It's still at my mom's house

Ha that’s awesome! I’d love to see a picture of the pillow. 😀💗

I heard the frog in the background! Brought back fond memories of staying at a relative’s farm. They had a small pond with lily pads and a birdbath. It produced many a frog that would hop out front to the swimming pool to lay their eggs. Then we would have to transfer them back to the Lily pond. Your video with all the sounds of nature, even the lawnmower, is very soothing! Love your stitching! Need to do some thrifting for frames soon. Happy stitching!

My daughter loves to rescue tadpoles too! What a great memory 🥰💗❤️

I don't comment too often on your videos, but I always watch them. I just wanted to say I love your energy and your dedication to preserving and repurposing adopted cross stitch projects. I hope you have time to do what you love and I greatly enjoy these updates! Take care! And thanks for the reminder of the garlic festival.. I haven't been since I was a kid even though I live in the bay area. Maybe this summer I will go :)

Thank you so much for your kind words and for watching my channel! Yeah, I haven’t been to the garlic festival since I was a kid and I just always remember getting the garlic ice cream and the garlic fries. I wish they served both those things over here on the East Coast!

Hi Amanda Mae! Sometimes weeds look like flowers 😊 We have had a lot of rain here in the Lehigh Valley, PA. I do hear the frogs! That is so awesome! And I think I hear doves 🕊 You've been busy! Take care ♡

Yes I leave a lot of the stuff in the ground but I do pull all the thistle. My neighbors don’t like their violets but I think they’re the best when they pop up! 💕😀

Really enjoy your backyard videos. The stitching project for your son was awesome. I was born and grew up in San Jose. The Gilroy garlic festival is a fun memory. Be well.

That is awesome! I went to San Jose often when I was a kid and it was the first place I had Boba tea. Fry’s electronics was also a place I would go and I loved the theme of the store. I’m not sure if that store is still around anymore though…

Thank you so much! I already took it out of the frame. So much tape on it! Now to wash it and make it into something even more special. 🌷🌸

Weeding never ends but I learned (years ago, because I am old) weeding is necessary and I call it knee therapy. If you weed after it rains, they come out root and all. I have learned to love the smell of mud (but not tracked all over my house😂). I will often weed in a light rain and pretend I am truly just a kid. I did my own Maynia by getting out all my WIPS and putting just a day’s stitching. I forgot what I started but 🤦🏻♀️ I still love my starts. I should not have counted them since now I know June will just be a continuation of May. I try not to think how much money is tied up in my ziplock bags. I have recycled frames for years!

Yes, I have been weeding after the rain here too! We had a drought last year and it was incredibly dry, but that did not stop all of the Canadian thistle. This year we’ve had a lot more rain and so I just need to keep on top of the weeding for sure.

We have so much in common!! I do think I heard your frog calling back there. Xoxo
@ArdithDesign7 ай бұрын
They've been so loud at night at the pond and I have several different tadpoles growing in there. It's so neat!
@Amylovestoads7 ай бұрын
@@ArdithDesign you can search for the frog/toad calls in your area. Probably through “Frog Watch”. You and then identify the types in your pond through their calls. It’s really fun.
