Sophie is so darn cute!! My Maltese, Beau used to steal socks when he was a puppy. Now, he only sneaks something if it smells like food 😂 I typically stitch every day, with an occasional day off if I have a super busy schedule. It’s my relaxation time and I get antsy if I don’t get to stitch every day. Thanks for sharing ❤

That little Sophie is such a stinker, but so cute!! I stitch just about every morning while babysitting my 3 yr old grandson. He snacks on a sugar-free popsicle while MeMe stitches for a little while. Love that 'Cross Stitcher' chart!! Love all of your videos!!

I literally just pulled out Strawberry Faire from my kitted stash last evening (As a Robin, I collect charts with Robins...haven't stitched a good robin in a while, so pulled this one out.) How funny I see it here this morning! I stitch more on weekends, but try to get a few in each evening after settling in from work and dinner!

Hello Shelly. Happy Wednesday 😍. Strange on the color for 16 ct Vintage Mocha but it a pretty color for something. Funny video with you voice over for Sophie. I stitch a lot but then there are periods where I read instead. I’m a what-the-mood strikes kind of stitcher but ALWAYS in the evening after all the chores and responsibilities are done. Every year I start a stitching diary on a calendar then at some point I will forget and so it all goes by the wayside. (Kinda like a diet). Your videos bring such pleasure into my life, thanks for the effort.

I use to cross stitch every night but care for two parents with ahlitimizers disease plus our 2 1/2 yr. old granddaughter. I only stitch three nights mostly now. I miss stitching more but the future should allow for it again. My place is to care for all of them right now. I hope you had a nice Mother’s Day.

That little Sophie is a stinker! Mom, you need to be more careful leaving all the temptations around where she can get to them! I’m glad that she didn’t eat any of the plastic pieces of things! She is so cute! I stitch everyday for several hours or so.

My mom's friend Sophie came to visit and put her purse on the floor. I found my dog Sam chewing on something. She had taken a 20 dollar bill out of the side purse pocket. Mom was mortified! The rest of us couldn't stop laughing and my little pickpocket just played miss innocent.

Sophie is adorable. I enjoyed seeing the items showing up here & there. 1 of our Labs (we occasionally called a Kleptomaniac), was so sneaky, you turn your head for 1 second and he'd grab something, most items were Mine, but he did actually pick up my hubby's hammer while he was working in the garage, he just moved it a couple feet. LOL I try to stitch every Night for appx 90 mins, sometimes I squeeze in Saturday afternoons too, and Sunday as much as possible. I do take some time off, as I do other things. I agree, that doesn't look like Vintage Country Mocha at all. I find it harder to stitch on bright Yellows & some Greens.

Sophie is so sweet! How funny that she just moves things around. I totally get your frustration about the green fabric!! I understand dye lot issues (though not with VCM), but I wish fabric dyers would rename the fabric so people know they are not getting the true color but a green variation. I find that Fiber on a Whim is notorious for having their “coffee” fabrics be green. Which is disappointing because their colors were beautiful at one point. I’m off my soapbox 😝. I stitch about 5-7 days a week.

Yes, you mentioned the company that started my distrust of advertised “perfect” neutral colors lol. Greens can be very pretty, but not always appropriate or desired for the project in question.

I try to cross stitch everyday. I actually need it to wind down from the day. I have been cross stitching for 40 years. The problem that I am having is seeing anything larger than 32 count and even 32 is becoming not an enjoyable stitch. I'm not sure if I'm not using the magnifier properly but it causes me to see double. If you have any advice on this please let me know.

One of my friends used to lay out her clothes before she would take a shower in the morning and she had to start closing the door to her room because her dog would take her clothes and hide them
