For a young mom with 3 little ones YOU AMAZE ME🤩 with all you’ve stitched…I’ve jumped over to your Instagram and WOWA….I just turned 53, my only child is 28 but I do have a special needs little Frenchie so my me time is sporadic most days. I’m also a fan of the Halloween stitcheries. I’ve just picked back up cross stitching as I am a longarm quilter since 2012 and been quilting since 2001…. I think I’m obsessed with it now but have yet to really get started…got my binder of printed patterns and a few kits made up and my first one is the Quilt-O-Graphy fro FQS….I guess you could say between Lori Holt and Pat Sloan they are who got me interested again in Xstitching 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️

I'm a huge Teresa Kogut fan! Been a patreon since the beginning. I have a ton started and I've finished a few! I'm a tier 4 but I can't help myself with the ornaments and the monthly scriptures. Michelle from Penny's daughter shares is stitching faith hope love peace sampler by Teresa. So I'm stitching it on Sunday as my sabbath stitch! Great videos! Loved every minute. As far as spring stitching, I started how does your garden grow by Priscilla!!

I got the dough bowl last year from Hobby Lobby and it came in a large and small size. I can look it up and see if they still have it. I did see the other day in the Spring section they had a bunch of different ones in all sizes and they are 40% off.

Just found your FlossTube today. I love your's and Vonna's tips on finishing the pillows. I never thought about writing down sizes so they all finish the same way. Can you show your January and February barn finishes next to each other. I'm just curious about the size difference. I wasn't going to do the barns until I saw the greens and decided to do that one for March. Kimberly gave a sneak peak of all the months and their DMC colors in FlossTube #144 on January 5th. It's in the Barn Sweet Barn chapter but it I don't think you could make out all the DMC numbers. I'm headed to your Instagram now and will subscribe there too. Can't wait til your next FlossTube! Have a great week!

I will grab both barns for next time. I was actually going to do that but couldn’t remember where I put the February one. I can also post a picture on instagram but I’m not sure if you will be able to tell the difference. Also that is the video I took a screen shot of and zoomed in 😂🤦🏻♀️ I feel like I sounded crazy admitting it but I feel like other people have done it too.

@sweetwaterstitcher2 жыл бұрын
It’s funny because I wanted to get it started today and didn’t have any 11 count so I went ahead and started it on 10 count. I can’t decide if I want to go to the store tomorrow and change to the 11 count. 😂
@amymuller14292 жыл бұрын
@@sweetwaterstitcher I have pack of the 10 count so I will use that up then switch. The 10 is just too floppy for me.

Loved all of your stitching and finishes. You have some great finishing ideas. Can you tell me about where in the fabric dept. at Hobby Lobby did you find the green gingham fabric. Our HL has small gingham prints but didn’t see the larger prints. Would love to see organization ideas for a craft room. Have a great week!
@sweetwaterstitcher2 жыл бұрын
I found it in with all the fabric that is by color. It’s not on one of the stands in the middle. I hope that helps and I can always try to take a picture of the tag on it next time I am there which will probably be later this week. I also have a light tan in that same size.

If you have time, I would like to have something to show the ladies in the fabric dept. I’m assuming you are saying the fabric is on bolts. I looked on the end cap and cant find anything. Thank you!😍

I look forward to watching your flosstubes! We have very similar styles and it's inspiring to see what you have bought or worked on. I was wondering what your oldest cross stitch is? Also do you have cross stitch plans for the hanging basket with tulips?
@sweetwaterstitcher2 жыл бұрын
My oldest cross stitch is the Eat Sleep Stitch by Lori Holt. I am planning to stitch Oh Hello Spring by Stitching with the Housewives to go on the basket. I stitched the fall truck that goes on the basket and have magnets on the other side. I figured while I didn’t have a piece ready for it I would turn it around and repurpose it. I have also done the same with my calendar crate finishing piece because I just haven’t had time to get the whole large piece done in the midst of other small pieces I have been wanting to finish.

Great stitching! Love seeing your finishes. I enjoy stitching a lot of the same pieces you show. Was it paper you decoupaged on your smaller 141 house? And what color RIT dye did you use for the SWTH bunny chart?
@sweetwaterstitcher2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I used scrapbook paper on my smaller house and I used the technique from Chantelle with 141 Design company. And for my bunny chart I used evening blue rit dye and then dunked it in just a tea dye before baking it a little. I didn’t have coffee to mix with the tea and I actually like it better then pieces I have done before because I think it didn’t turn out as dark.

I used 25 count vintage cloth by Lori holt in the color cloud. If you haven’t tried it yet the stitch cards are a prefect project to try because they are so small.

How many strands of floss do you use for 11ct? What size needle? I grabbed some fabric at hobby lobby today. :)
@sweetwaterstitcher2 жыл бұрын
I used 4 strands and a size 24 needle. This fabric is the only one I use that size for so I just am using a DMC needle from either Michaels or Hobby Lobby because I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a needle I don’t use often.
