The Jane Austen quilt will be great. You used to sew all those specialty fabric costumes -- bias isn't so bad as long as you don't handle it too much. It won't be as hard as you think.

I just found your channel and loved you guys. Thanks for the laughs. I dye my own fabrics and floss. I have seen other floss tubers talk about antiquing their floss and fabrics. They tea dye the floss and then tea dye the fabric. Just make sure your floss is color fast. I’m an Aida stitcher - these old eyes ya know. I know some look down on people who stitch Aida. It all looks beautiful. So proud to say I’m an Aida stitched snob!! LOL!!

Oh my gosh ladies! I was casting on a knit project when I started watching and I had to rip out and re-start it three times I was laughing so hard. We had soooo much fun, didn’t we? I hope we can do it again real soon. Have bunches of fun at your retreat next month! I can’t wait until your pear designs come out. They are really beautiful! I might need to do mine with some of the hand dyed velvet from Country Sampler. I loved the story of the Black Widows but after doing a search in Wikipedia it must be mistaken. In the chart it's dated 1827 and the serial Keller Mary Ann Cotton lived from 1832 to 1873. So it cannot be her but it was such a nice story.

Good video! You make me laugh. I have done 30 of the Prairie Schooler Santas. I love Prairie Schooler designs. Chelsea's finish is really nice. Stitching on aida is great. Never think its not as nice as linen. I love them all.

I’ll be interested to hear what you find out. I asked about coffee and tea dyeing on Facebook and my concerns were confirmed. The acid in coffee and teas will eventually break down fibers. I asked about black walnut and was told that’s even worse. Hmm…what to do?
