I want to start off with thanking you for trying something new. This was very enjoyable to have you stitch while sharing things about yourself. The gentle elegance of the way you speak is so refreshing. I see a genuine love of the craft and how you enjoy sharing it. Please let this be an encouragement to do this again. My favorite kind of stitch with me is no music no talking I’d like just the sound of the stitching I think it’s very comforting. I certainly hope you do more.

I stitch in hand in much the same way as you so it was interesting to hear you talk about your methods and the way you hold your fabric. I roll from the side too and work right to left going up and down. And I started a new project along with you! It's Tea Rex by Silver Creek Samplers so rather different to your beautiful Owl Forest piece - we're in the middle of extensive building work and it will be for our new kitchen, whenever they finish building it. Really enjoyed your stitch-with-me video. Your voice is so soothing and the music is so relaxing. I was stitching along on my Bloo Boo Kay. My very first Long Dog Sampler. I need to try your way of stitching. I learned the over-under method when I was young, and typically use a scroll frame, unless it is a small stitch. The sewing method seems much more efficient. That was the loveliest hour of stitching I’ve had all week! I always stitch by myself, and it was just wonderful to do my stitching while listening to beautiful music and the words and thoughts of a stitch friend. I wish I could return the favor and invite you to my house for tea and stitching. I just love the look of your black and red modern piece. (I had to laugh when you said that you don’t like stitching red, black or beige, but you quite enjoyed the piece!) even if it doesn’t go with your decor, I think it would make a beautiful insert in a blond wood tray. All your Flosstubes are a delight, I especially enjoyed this one, just sat with you chatting and stitching. I’m stitching Vivsters Welsh flag and I’m at about 30%, thoroughly enjoying it. I have the Union flag to stitch when this is done, also stitching my dog’s head (a miniature schnauzer) it is 27 shades of grey and all confetti stitching. Thank you for a lovely hour or so. So peaceful. I have been stitching a birth sampler for a new grandson due at the end of the month. May I suggest you use shorter lengths of thread so less of it gets abraded and/or tangled. . Went to owl forest embroidery site and looked up your chart. So lovely. I’m doing their mushroom SAL but they have so many other lovely designs. Please do more videos like this one. Oh would also like to see your view out of your window. I absolute love your stitch with me. Since I have friends in the Netherlands it is nice to hear the things from your view. I also love your cups and my favorite tea is also Roiboos. I always start in upper left corner since I am a lefthander. I have reasonly started to use woodframes that can stan on the table because I can't sit with it in the hands too long because I will get more pain in my hands

wow, I enjoyed that visit with you… felt like I was in the Netherlands, stitching with a friend, instead of a small town in Alabama, U.S. The music is relaxing! I started a sunflower on black Aida as we visited, so I laughed out loud at your comment about black fabric. Without my Ott light and magnifier, I couldn’t manage stitching on it, even though I love the way the black looks when a piece is finished. I, too, stitch in hand, but I cannot stitch from the front like you do! I’ve tried, but my tension is bad.

Hoi Hanneke, het was heerlijk ontspannend om “samen” te borduren. Heb je wel eens geprobeerd om met je borduurnaald één draadje van je kleur garen af te halen met je borduurnaald? Het werkt echt supergoed. Je kunt het garen gewoon laten zitten zoals je het gekregen hebt. Ik heb het gezien bij andere flosstubers en doe het nu altijd zo. Fijne zondag en geniet van de hightea met je ouders😘😘😘

Ik ben benieuwd. Ik dacht op een gegeven moment bij het bekijken van flosstubers: waarom zit het garen in een bepaalde knoop op het kaartje. Toen zag ik iemand er één draadje uit trekken en dacht toen ook: dat is handig. Hiervoor haalde ik altijd een volledige draad van mijn kaartje en pakte er een gesplitste draad vanaf.

This episode was OK but I prefer your usual videos more as watching someone stitich is basically somewhat boring. I missed seeing all the projects that you are working on.
