Yay, good to see you again! So glad the blood clot cleared up! Sharks teeth and a puffer fish mouth plate- wow, so neat. Great projects and progress, so good to see another video!

The hardanger piece is looking fantastic! Hardanger is on my bucket list for the first year of retirement. The bee button with the long shank….you could snap off the shank with pliers and make a needle minder out of it. It is always nice to have a video from you. I hope the blood clot is in the past, not to repeat.

Glad you are doing well, no more blood clots. Loved seeing all your stitching. I love to make goal lists for finishes. I accomplish maybe 1/3 of the goals? But I still think it’s a great thing to do so good luck with your 2024 finish goals. Your shark teeth are amazing. Great collection! See you at Summer School!

You were one of the first stitchers I found on flosstube and I always look forward to your videos. Just sat down for some late night stitching and now I have good company! I did watch the first part already and enjoyed hearing about your beach finds. I also prefer to walk the NC beaches for treasures instead of swimming. And I am happy to hear of your good medical news!

Your hardanger is stunning! Just jumping in and doing because you want to is the absolute right way to go about it - and look at your results, which are fabulous. So glad I'll be seeing you again at Summer School this year.

Good to see you, Jessica. The Atlanta/Georgia wall sounds cool. The Georgia stitched piece is from Sue Hillis and I found one at a thrift store too.

Hooray on the health news! That must've been a good feeling hearing that. I'm in landlocked Arizona so a trip to a California beach is always a requirement. Getting in the water scares me so I'm happy to walk and collect sea shells. Next time, I will be looking for sharks teeth! Great find of the floor stand too, wow. Happy stitching!

I'm always so excited to see a new video pop up from you! Important question: are those croissants on the bottom of Charlotte Ash? You just don't see enough pastry in samplers!
@SchoolhouseStitcher5 ай бұрын
I think they’re seashells, but now they are officially croissants to me. 😂 Making a note to go to a bakery whenever I start this one!

Hi Jessica, your video is wonderful as always. You show charts and projects that I don't see anywhere else, ever. I love that. I was wondering if you could point me in the direction to find the NPI conversion for Lois Minshall? I recently bought that chart on Facebook and would love to have the better colors for it. Thank you!
@SchoolhouseStitcher5 ай бұрын
Attic Needlework should have the conversion! I saw the photo on this blog and in the Attic’s newsletter: daysofasamplerlover.blogspot.com/2009/03/lois-minshall-is-finished.html?m=1

I am glad you had a good health news. I love your finishing, your wips too , what a great haul you had I want to learn hard hardanger and black work too because I want to do Dogwood Sampler designed by Darlene O'Steen , I have it for over 25 years , i hope someone in my guild will show me how to do it one day. Where did you bought your blackwork bonbons and the queen Catherine’s book?
@SchoolhouseStitcher5 ай бұрын
I hope you get the chance to try Hardanger and blackwork-they’re both really fun! I think the bonbon chart is out of print, or at least I haven’t been able to find it online. The Queen Catherine set is by Carolyn Standing Webb and was part of a class she taught; I’m not sure if she sells it separately, but she does have Instagram and KZbin channels (both under her name) if you want to check!

Hi, that one is actually a fragment of a woven blanket that I found in an antique store! I’m hoping to chart it for cross-stitch someday but just haven’t gotten around to it.
