I really like how the fabric you bleached is working with the lemonade piece. It definitely reminds me of pink lemonade. I'll enjoy seeing your final finish on Black Pearl. I think your idea for the frame is going to be beautiful. 🪡👠

Wish I lived closer to you so I could come and help you out. It will all work out eventually. I think you need to add another handle to your basket to balance it out. I love your baskets and you’ve got me interested in making some. Happy crafting!

I’m sending you good vibes and energy to get through all this…I believe you will. You enabled me to start the lazy day shawl and I’m using Mandala yarn in the color “chimera”. It is very relaxing to work on. I’m seriously thinking about making a basket also (another handle on the t-shirt basket for sure…so cute). Take it all slow…little by little and soon you will see progress on your organizing. Great video as always.

Oh Karla I am so sorry the tide just keeps rising in the season of life you’re in. I know how that feels. I hope it calms down for you so very soon. I’m loving seeing all of your crochet! A 3 yarn is a DK weight. And some acrylics do feel plasticky. But sometimes that’s a good thing (like for baskets and rugs), but there are definitely softer feeling acrylics out there now! Mandala is a soft non-plasticky yarn in my opinion!

I know what you’re going through with the treatments-we have lots of inspections (which I’m grateful for which keeps our building in great shape). I’m thankful I live in an apartment building with an elevator -I can’t do stairs. We also have quarterly bed bug inspections (never heard of this until moving here 8 years ago). I actually had them a year ago-anyone can get them-what a pain! The bag will be beautiful. I love the lime and orchid (looks fluorescent yellow and bright pink on the video) basket-gorgeous colors. Yes put another handle on it-it’s beautiful! The 2 lazy day wraps you’re making are so pretty. I love the one for you (colors) more!! I love all your crochet projects. What about the cat from your set you did 2 or 3 of the 4? One of the last few you showed are cute-I’m sure whatever you decide will be cute. Hope you relax and have a great rest of the week. Hi Karla and Baggy! Sounds like you and I should have gotten together this week for sure! My week was pretty shitty as well. Glad you were able to find comfort with crocheting. The apartment is giving us a hard time because we are leaving our lease 1 month early, going to charge us for the September rent plus a reletting fee of over $1100 and wanting us to keep the utilities on the entire time. I am not paying for utilities I am not using since we are giving them 30 days notice. We got the keys to the new house. Trying to get all the services scheduled. Good grief, I hate moving even with movers packing things up and doing all the heavy lifting, etc. Labelled the rooms for the movers today while we got the keys and reprogrammed the garage door code. Got Baby's remains and memorial pieces back today :( Hope your talk with the apartment manager went well. Wish I could come over and help you out. Don't worry about the crafting too much for the next couple of weeks until you get things settled back down. Hugs, my friend. Dawn

I will say it again - moving is the most awful thing to do!!!!!!!!! The end result is usually great but the process, sucks!

Sorry life just keeps punching you. I feel like you really want to start the cat with the pumpkins. I'd say start on the cat. It looks to be somewhat near the center and you aren't changing cat colors. You can wait to figure out the conversions when you have less on your plate.
