I was thinking the little tool in the pouch is a corner turning tool, to press into the corners to get a more defined corner.

I totally agree with you about variegated threads…use them when they will be effective. I am doing the Canadian flag by Vivster and love the stitch. This is the first time you have shown in my feed and I am thrilled to have found you. Have a fabulous July. 🦉🧵🔆

Hi, I love all your beautiful work, amazing progress. I think the tool is a Nalbinding needle ( Viking needle ) . Hope you have a wonderful week. Many thanks for sharing.

Love the June Gnome, my birthmonth. I think that tool is a laying tool.

I just showed and talked about my Vivsters flag in my video today and I wish I had watched your video first (I’m woefully behind on Flosstube)! When I bought mine, they didn’t yet have the “reversed” version of the USA flag, but I was noticing that it ended up looking different than all the new international flags she started making. That’s cool she now includes both versions - especially for people like you who are stitching more than one. 👍🏻

The reversed is so much more stitching but I like it better.

It looks like a laying tool to me when you are stitching with two threads.
