I have two best friends, an one and her husband are retired professional ballet dancers. I wish I could have seen her dance in Europe. She left Colorado at 16. Big dance company scooped her up. She danced all over Germany where they trained...They returned last summer. We picked up where we left off.😊 Love your finishes

Merry, Merry Christmas Kristie! Another inspiring floss tube! First, you look beautiful in red! Second, I finally purchased Elizabeth Furniss and I'm just waiting for my fabric and silks to arrive. Will you share your assignments on that piece? I know that will help me stay focused so I too can finish it. Your stitching is just beautiful! Did you finish Jack's Bash? I am about 1/3 of the way through and realized I'm two stitches off on the left border. (I stitched the border first, counted and recounted. And I'm still off) oh well. I just can't fudge it so that entire left border (albeit a simple one) has to come out. Watching you and Olivia and Carol Salt Box provide for me a great calmness in my stitching frustration. It's nice to know it's not only me! And yet we continue to stitch on! I love watching all the beauty come to life in each and every piece. I suppose it isn't any different than finding a mistake in my knitting or ripping out stitches when piecing a quilt. Our mistakes remind us of our humanness. Enjoy your daughter performing in one of my favorite ballets, Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker!! Please share any tips you have learned for the next time you have an issue. Is it the photograph - That we think the fabric is a certain color and try to go with the color vs the cloth recommendation we can’t find?

When o started it originally I used the called for linen. The threads got lost on it. But I deftexpected it to look like the photo on the chart. And to me it just didn’t. I think gray by weeks is a great alternative for this
