Time goes by so fast that it’s only today I was able to visit with you and see your lovely stitching. My hubby has brought home some special wood from a local barn which he’s passed on to a friend for turning into a bowl. While visiting with you I’ve been stitching the vine’s around the birds and number four of 12 Days of Christmas stockings,so happy stitching on these. I'm cross-stitching Antique Rooster Sampler now using CGT Canna Lily red and it is so pretty. Your Lori Hold quilts are beautiful! I have made a version of the Farm Girl Vintage quilts using about 88 6 1/2" blocks and I have made Vintage Christmas, with Quilty Fun in the works. Your stitching and embroidery are so inspiring. Sian, your embroidery is divine!…and your quilts are beautiful! I have limited my multi-crafting until I retire (target date is in 2 and a half years) so I will enjoy your work and the work of others until I have more time. My mum taught me embroidery when I was very young, too. My favorite part was choosing colors from the tin full of floss. I still feel that joy when I look at my floss stash to this day ❤. Hello Sian! Thank you for this wonderful flosstube. I think I like all the things you do and the passion you put into them. The stitching, the embroidery, the quilting! I only do cross stitch, but I appreciate all the textile arts. You're Keeper of the pins pillows are so pretty. It's so nice you go on holidays with your daughters. I have been in Santorini several times, as I go to Greece whenever I can. I like Santorini, as it is so scenic. I prefer the Smaller Cyclades, but once in lifetime you must visit Santorini. And I remember the first time there, back in 1987. I did the stairs from Oia down to thee old port. It was unforgettable, but for the heat. I don't reccommend it at all. I am sure that you can enjoy the sunset in Oia on a whitewashed roof, while sipping some Rakomelo. Until next time Kalo Taxidi! Happy Stitching!

Hello and thanks for watching! You won't believe it but I did those 290 steps twice this week - once to Ammoudi Bay and the next night back down for the little boat to Armeni Bay to the fish restaurants - food was amazing but the steps back up after nearly killed me in that heat! Happy stitching!

You definitely did a lot stitching and sewing this month. I wish your weather was better. Here in Upstate NY we are having heat waves with lots of humidity. Tons of storms. In 1 week we have had 2 tornadoes. We don't get tornadoes! Santorini sounds absolutely amazing. And a bit of day drinking won't hurt anyone!!! The quilt!!! There are no words. Just WOW!
