Danette, thank you for leaving such a kind comment. 😊 Even though I still have a couple of very large WIPs in progress, I’ve been considering not doing any more really big ones. I say that now but if I fall in love with another big one I think I would have a hard time resisting!!! I guess time will tell…haha! Happy stitching!

Hi there Linda! Thank you for the kind comment. I’ve heard a number of stitchers sharing how they either don’t like stitching borders or deciding not to stitch a border of a project. So it sounds like there’s a group of stitchers (and we’re in that group!) who enjoy them. Happy stitching this week😊!

As you were talking about being more conscious about counting and placement, I was picking out a section for the third time. I will be more intentional in my stitching now! Louisa is just beautiful, and on my wish list at 123! Enjoyed seeing all of your projects Sharon!

Thanks for watching, Brenda! I think that Louisa will be a real stitching joy for you when you do start her! And I hate to admit that I’ve had to pick out things several times in several things I’ve stitched! When I discover I’ve made a mistake that needs to be frogged out, I’ll usually put the piece in timeout until I’m ready to do that and move on! 😊

Wow! Wonderful WIP parade! Your WIPs are wonderful and not the usual “everybody is doing the same charts” parade of stitching. Thank you for being unique in your choices. With that said, I did copy you and purchase the Rose Quaker (complete with my name on every page). I was captivated by the color of the stem of roses on your stitching. Perfection💕 Congratulations on gathering all of your family back close again. Family is important! I am happy for you. Looking forward to next Sunday!😊

@ not yet, but seeing yours again makes me want to start. I’m working feverishly (when I have cross stitch time) on my blessing sampler right now. Even though there are still two weeks in the month, I am conducting a quilt retreat the last week of the month which shortens my time to one week.

Wow, you’re a quilter! I didn’t know that. That’s something I really want to explore soon. Good luck with your quilt retreat (Where is it?) and getting your blessing sampler done. 😊

You contradict yourself! You say your stitched piece has to look like the picture on the pattern. Now you're saying something different. The statics that are important to you, don't matter to most other stitchers.

Hi there Dodie, I think that the key to keeping stitching fun is to try and stay true to yourself. I think that everyone should find what works for them. It’s most common for me to try to replicate the picture on the chart because I fall in love with the pictures. It’s the exception for me to accept anything less but I was happy I was able to do that and continue stitching a piece. That may be a turning point for me…we’ll see!! I hope you have a great stitching week! 😀
