Sorry for the colds...my children had about 5 per year...and yes we both caught them too...love your Christmas tree pattern...if you could use a silver or gold bead...come up from the bottom of the fabric...go thru the star and the bead...then go back down the star...adjust the bead and star to fit on top the tree and tie off on the back side of the fabric...it is like doing a french knot...I know french knots don’t work unless you stagger the thread but the bead actually hold the star on...beautiful pattern...I like the animal patterns and the Angels’ one too...I collect Angel patterns...love them....best wishes and happy stitching ❤️

That Victorian castle sounds absolutely amazing. My kids always loved visiting things like that (and still do -- I took my three teenage boys out to tour Victorian houses on Sunday, at their request)

Hope you are feeling better soon. I can totally relate. My doctor finally decided to rearrange some of my meds and I’m hoping that I will be feeling better by Christmas. The hope is that I will have less pain and also have better circulation to my fingers and toes so I can have better sensation in them to stitch. She is concerned that with the cold and how they looked that I may lose the tips of my fingers in the future from Raynauds. Please don’t be afraid of having things in your body if that is what is recommended for you. Lots of people have all kinds of things inside them. And I have things that I just consider “specialized body jewellery” lol. I have two feeding tubes right now but have had other things in the past. These have been part of my life for almost 7.5 years and almost 8 years now. I don’t even notice them. They get infected or inflamed from time to time but it really isn’t a big deal if it will mean more time with your kids right? Anyway sounds like you have a great trip coming up. The kiddos will have a blast. And mom and dad too😉

Erica hope you are feeling better each day. Day late no problem, since I have a job I now am 3 days watching your video. I to (many moons ago) bought a Doll house kit from Michaels, had it almost finished then was transferred duty stations so it had to go into storage, on the return state side, it was not handled properly and I just had to toss it, it was for my girls and they were heartbroken, that it had to be tossed. I recently, saw a few kits at Hobby Lobby and was tempted to buy one, but.... I don't really need one my daughters are grown and I have grandkids almost grown. Oh darn, if they were young I probably would. LOL

The Christmas Sentiments is so pretty! I'm not familiar with attaching that star bead but if you can't get it to work, a star button may be a good alternative. I've always wanted a dollhouse; it would be so fun to decorate! And several months ago a YT video popped up in my queue with someone that had decorated a dollhouse in a Halloween theme! I was like OMG, I will now need two dollhouses, one regular and one for Halloween, LOL!

My daughter lives in the springs and her husband and daughter are gluten free. She goes to some gluten free bakery down there that is amazing...the cupcakes she gets are the best I have ever tasted. It would be worth looking up if you haven't yet.

If you can't find a Angel Tree at the mall, you might consider a nursing home. A lot of them put up Angel Trees so the residents get a nice gift from Santa.

Glad you are on the mend! I agree- faces are hard to get right. Years ago Stampin Up came out with some kid stamps/ they had a set of kids in the stamp set. My girlfriends and I called them the children of the corn stamp set...they were beyond weird!!! Whoever thought that design was good...was very mistaken!!! 🤣🤣🤣 no one wants a card with children of the corn stamped on it!!! You need Star Wars bags!!! Because Star Wars rocks!!!
