Thanks ladies, you made my day! Watching you always lifts me up and the addition of the "Third Musketeer" (Shannon) just adds to the joy. Beautiful finishes, progress and FFOs...you've all been busy. Shannon, don't get mad now, but I was thinking it would be neat if you did 13 flags, one for each of the Original Colonies. Just a thought. It got me starting to think about next year and adding a state abbreviation to each little patriotic stitch. Love Button, Button and the rabbit holes it could open. Was telling our oldest daughter about Pam's 'Courage' SAL, and I said, "The cancer that has had the most recent impact on our family is glioblastoma (brain cancer)." My brother, my husband's sister, and her grandson-in-law (yep - no blood links) and various skin cancers. She suggested just doing the color for all cancers. So I ordered some Threadworx (fell in love with this variegated thread over 20 years ago) in a lilac/purple, a purple to blue that I may or may not use, a pink from dark to light, and have grays to black in CGT. Not sure how I am going to work it, but it should be a good stitch. Have fun at Stitch-Con!! BTW - you got a big mention by Julie in Running With Scissors.

I am starting the Courage stitch on June 15th as that is my last Radiation treatment. After 2 surgeries, chemo and radiation I will be all done. Then my goal is to come to Blue Earth for a 24 hour of cross stitch. I will be celebrating all summer.
