I've been loving seeing everyone's retreat vlogs and recaps. I've been struggling with scheduling a fix that I need for a problem with my foot and whether I should give up my spot at the Queen City retreat.. but I *so* want to spend a weekend with stitchy folks that I'm trying really hard to not have to give it up. I had a similar thought about the Lila's Studio Quakers but I'm having so much fun with Summer that I'm going to keep going with that one and then I'll start another. These are such fun to stitch! The Kooler ornaments are so much prettier when they're stitched. I did them for my sister and put them on a wreath. I think I stitched them in the 1990s if I remember correctly. They're a gorgeous set. The fabric for Shakespeare's Fairies is perfect! I would take your traditional beach piece.. but I would also take something else that's calling to you and you can decide what stitching feels right while you're there. 🪡👠

For my Potoky I have a little piece of rubber shelf liner that helps create grip on my Qsnap. That stand was amazeballs for airplane stitching!!! Thank you for another video! And before what is worth, your Uncle Sam still checks the 3 pertinent boxes that are what you have traditionally done...1) Memorial Day, 2) beach, 3) family trip stitch. Stitch on the beach project at the new beach too. That way you'll be closer to getting it done and displayed to remember your beach trips. Thanks for the congratulations shout out. It's great to have big finishes. If you start Chickadees and Lilacs maybe I will stop procrastinating and finish. Maybe when you do yours you'll backstitch as you go along instead of leaving it all for last. I probably would be better off if I did that. Enjoyed your video. You shared so many great things!

Congrats on the new grandbaby! The pollen is seriously no joke here this year too. Beach project - I would call it the Memorial Day beach trip project and stitch on it because you will be at the beach Memorial Day. Like you said you can't count on always having the same group at the same place. But you will probably keep going to a beach with some group of family on Memorial Day each year.
