Well, Kerri, I also tried ‘stitching in the ditch’ after watching this video and I was also blown away at how much more comfortable it is. In the past I have thought it was a ridiculous idea! You are never too old to learn. Lovely seeing all the stitching, patterns and floss!

Yes, Stitching in the Ditch is the right....always called it that....everyone in the South calls it that....but I like stitching in the Dell....so going to use that....

So glad you enjoyed the poo field. :) It just made me laugh. (and thanks for the shout out) I was stitching it at Pacific Northwest Stitch Summit and so many people oohed and ahhed over the colours. I think I could frame the piece if I had a dollar for everyone who asked what specialty stitches were used.

Exactly!!! You did a wonderful job ❤️⭐️ … 💩

Caroline, your Cranberry Manor turned out so good, the frame is just right. I’d love to join you all for movie night, but flying from the UK really would make it the most expensive film night ever 😂 Kerri, what an amazing gift from Ellen, that is so fabulous. Not just that she stitched it (and on my screen the stitching looks *immaculate*) but how cleverly she laid out all the colours, they are incredibly well balanced and I can tell a lot of thought went into it. Stitchy friendships - just the best ❤ Jenny x

I stitch in the well, ditch, dill when I cross stitch BUT when I embroider I stick the other way (the common way we all learn on how to put a hoop on). Now I stitch in hand, no hoop or q snap at all. I know exactly what you mean.

So, stitching in the well sure makes sense. When I stitch in hand, I also curl up the sides up and over because then the bottom of the fabric can get soiled instead of the right side....not that my fabric gets soiled...lol...on purpose....lol.

Omg you “said my name, said my name…”, can’t believe I made the grade!! However, i was listening to you with my head phones on and i think i “droned out,” as Kerri said. Must have been the muffled rhythm of my dogs snoring that caused it!! Had to rewatch your video. Lol. Loved, loved your video and even though she was a Karen (lol) who pointed out that the moth has 2000 stitches…shes right…it was no joke. Loved every stitch of your birthday SAL and already have it at the framers. And those 🐈⬛ 🐈⬛ 🐈⬛ 🐈⬛ are the meow, for sure!!
