Omg I can’t believe I was chosen for the custom pattern! This will be one I cherish forever of Winston! Thank you! Great progress with so many stitches. Your Woodland Enchantress is looking so lovely. You are my inspiration to keep going with mine! Also I love your box method of choosing projects. Great idea to take the decision pressure away. Great to see you back. Happy stitching!

I can't wait to see the design of Winston! And you're quite right -- removing decision pressure is really helpful! I've been working at doing it in other areas and it seems to be helping. Slowly but surely, right?

My sweet friend, thank you for being you and taking the time to do this hard thing. Thank you for my chart; I love her work and her wish I could do more in support of her shop, but it is hard with the method im using now to touch all my projects, new and old. I hope you don't push yourself too much and dont forget to be as kind and forgiving to yourself as you are to others 🫂💙

So so happy to see you are back. Love watching your videos. Because of you and your amazing stitching I have purchased a purple package of the bookshelf as well. I’m just waiting for it to come. All the way to Australia. You are so brave to post a video when you aren’t feeling so well. Many people out there will be able to relate to you, so kind and thoughtful of you to share. Take care. We all love you and you wonderful stitching. 🩷🩷🩷🩷

You are an imspiration! You're willingness to accept that which you cannot change, and the brilliant ways you have adapted, and learned to live within your new limits is brilliant. It's heart-breaking to see the damage done by this insidious disease, and I most sincerely hope that you are able to enjoy a full recovery. But no matter what, you bring light and hope with you, and inspiration not just for needlewotk but for adapting to lifes changes and challenges, too. Thank you for sharing.

That gorgeous drawstring bag from the freebie table looks perfect for putting Your pieces of paper in. When I saw it I wanted to open it up, put my hand in it and find something. So why not put all your kits and non priority wips in there and give yourself an extra feeling of excited anticipation and pretty.

Happy new year. Be proud of where you are and thank you so much for sharing your journey with us and bringing that openness and honesty to flosstube. It was seeing one of your earlier videos when binge watching about the meaning behind the bookshelf that helped tell myself it was okay to be taking time away from work, study etc. to focus on the things that brought calmness and a bit of clarity, and now I've started journalling with certain projects and that's been a journey but its been really helpful.

So glad you’re back. Take the time you need. You have done very well and so proud you kept this unedited. While I don’t have the same issues, your honest video into some of your challenges makes me appreciate what others go through even more. Thank you so much so much for selecting me! There are so many great ones to choose from at their shop. I can see why you like Luthien Art so much. Once I get the perfect pic of my kitty with her nose that has the heart shape on it, I’m definitely getting a custom done of her.

A video was not going to be made if I had to edit it 🤣 It's easy to feel like maybe I'm making it up. That might be my greatest challenge! Denying the reality will only cause problems. More problems 🙃 Hopefully your kitty cooperates for a photo. Heart shape in her nose is sweet!!

I'm glad that you felt up to recording this! You've gotten a TON of stitches done!!! Sorry to hear that the Rona caused brain stuff (anything that impacts your brain can be SO hard!!!!). Why is it that we give ourselves grace when we have a very visible something (such as a broken arm)...yet when it is something not as visible (such as an invisible disability or something impacting our brain) we give ourselves SUCH A hard time, even when if one of our loved ones was facing the same thing, we'd be so kind and gentle with them and encourage them to do the same! So many fun items added to your collection...so many pretty flosses and fabrics! I think I've stitched that Paula Vaughn!!! (if not, another one that is almost identical) It's the first thing I did when I got back into stitching after some...struggles...I had with stitching when I first tried it when I was growing up! Not sure what happened to the project...it's in a bin somewhere...never been framed! You take care...hope you have a restful week!

I have a lot of health issues that cause me brain fog and fatigue, and when my brain just decides it's done, I describe it like an unbreakable, unclimbable wall. When your brain decides it's done, it's done. It's no different than having a physical disability or problem, but it's just harder for people to understand. If someone has carpal tunnel and they aren't able to do something because their wrist/hand physically stops them from doing it, people generally get that and don't call the person lazy for not doing something that will only make it worse. TLDR; brain fog, fatigue, and any other number of neurological symptoms are valid, like you said, and your symptoms are valid. It's really hard to not feel lazy but when your brain says it's done, it's done.

Suki glad to see you back! ❤ With the Thea Governor piece, it is similar to a HAED with lots of confetti! It looks absolutely gorgeous as you stitch it up, but there are a ton of color changes. I love mine. It's not the same one as yours, so yours might be less confetti then mine is.

Love your videos! Happy to see your back and take your time to get your health right ❤. Also I wanted to share a pro tip with you. If you have a library card. Usually the library will have magazines subscriptions like just Crosstitch and crossstitcher that you can use. My public library has both of those magazine subscriptions that I can borrow and then I just screenshot them onto my phone since I made mostly stitch off my iPad. I hope that tip helps you. 😊

You do what is good and necessary for you. No matter what you stitch and put out there. Long Covid is tough to deal with it’s going to be a long haul. My other half had to fight through some of that. It affects each person differently, not everyone has the same issues. He had a lot of brain (fog) & he still deals with brain issues too. He feels like he is not as sharp as he was before Covid. We both had it in early in 2020, March. Good luck Suki. Just know I/we are all behind you with much love and what ever you need to get through this. 💜

I am sorry you are feeling that way after covid. I was the same in 22 though not as bad as my teenage son who even now is sometimes in bed for a week with exhaustion. He lost 10kg and had regular appointments in the long COVID clinic. I take omega 3 for the brain inflammation and think it helps but for the anxiety and exhaustion, I was told it is a dysregulation of the parasympathetic nervous system. So it is hyper active a LOT. Heart rate variability will also be affected. (Lots to read online about that). My son was advised to reset it by having cold showers. It really helped. As for the brain fog. Mine got better eventually but for a while I was worried I was developing dementia I was so confused and out of it. Best wishes to you and get well soon. Exercise and a good diet. Hugs.

You are not crazy, that Covid did something to everyone who got it. I got the “original” in 2020 and then got the variant in 2023 and it has affected my speech and thought. I keep making videos and then when I go to edit them, most of the footage is of me trying to remember words or just dead air while I try to remember what I was saying. I gave up and stopped recording, too frustrating. I can do counted cs in moderation so I am grateful for stamped cs. I hope you feel better 😊

Get rest and take care of yourself. I have narcolepsy and me brain function lessens as the day goes on. I have learned what it feels like when I can no longer drive for the day.Talking in particular gets harder because I either can't recall the words I want or I can't get them out properly. It sucks but you have to learn how to work with it. Hopefully this isn't permanent for you. Personally I can cross stitch even when I am getting near bed time. But some days I can only put in a few stitches like maybe ten. But that is better than none. Sending prayers your way.
