Hi Cathy! Judy here. I absolutely loved this video. As being fairly new (again after not stitching for 30 years) I don't have a finish yet. Watching your tutorial here has gotten me pumped up to get a finish. I have several WIPS and a few that I have kitted. Thank you so very much for taking your time to make a tutorial and I love, love, love your technique for attaching the ribbon. I do understand your collecting of things. When I get into something, I like to collect it all. LOL. I have already accumulated quite a collection of patterns, fabric, and floss. My husband asked me just last night how many more things I planned to purchase. I am 64 and I told him that I needed a lot because I was going to I've to be 100. He said that he was going to put all my supplies in my casket if I died before he did. LOL. We have a lot of fun together and try to laugh throughout the day. Laughter is the best medicine! Thank you again, and have a great day and week. Take good care and God bless!💞💕

Will now be looking at pins and more ribbon when I shop my sales. Thank you Cathy for showing your finishing techniques. I just love them.

I think, for me, first time I would take one of my disappearing marking pens and lay the edge of the piece next to a ruler to mark the half-inch distance on the edge of the piece. It would only take a few seconds and speed up the pinning process for me. Once again, Cathy, you do such a wonderful job with your tutorials. Thank you.

Thank you for this lovely tutorial, Cathy! You are so clear when you explain the process, you make it seem so simple! May I please ask you where is foam core to be found? I live in Italy, so I don’t have access to your hobby stores and need to find alternative suppliers. Thank you! Happy Easter!

Laura Latino I usually get my foam board from larger hobby stores. Where do you order your stitching supplies-would they have foam board. They might at least have a contact for you. How about a shop that does custom framing?

Thank you for such a wonderful tutorial. Wouldn’t you be able to use Mill Hill beads and other beads on the head of a pin as well? For those that have beads in their stash.

That would work. Just make sure that the bead fits in the pin & it doesn’t slide off the top!

Kathy Eggleston I do not use sticky board. I pin and lace my stitching (see some of the printed tutorials that are on my website). I use double sided acid free stitchery tape for just the fabric covered portions (not the stitching). See the video that I referenced for instruction on how to do that❤️

There are at least two different thicknesses of foam core board. You could always try the thinner one instead of mat board if you have longer pins to use.
