my favorite black for mono samplers is Gloriana antique black - the Florimell which is overdyed AVAS is my preference. It's hard to find. I vote for the Painters -I would love to try it myself. hope you have a great time at the Attic and a wonderful prosperous and healthy new year,.

Good morning. Happy new year. I purchased the muted but plan on stitching motifs from the vibrant and making into pin cushions. I completed my first blessing sampler and stitched "lost" Mrs Salmond 1897 from a red box. I can't wait for the new one to come available. Have fun at the Attic!!
