I love The Plantation sampler, I don’t remember where I seen it first yet was one of my first purchases (from 1884). I’ve been trying to decide if I wanted to order silks or cotton. First : Annie, the Noel Sampler by Brenda G is one of my most favorite projects I’ve ever done. It was a joy to stitch and it’s so so pretty in the frame. You’ve probably already made your decision for the blue in the bird, but I would change the darker color to something lighter…less frogging! I had to track down that Plantation Sampler😲...those trees do it for me!! I have 'This Happy Morning' ready to go, but hesitating because, what you said, so much stitching! Indeed, her 'Winter Moon' is also a must-have. My vote is to change the blue on Mary Amelia's Bird, just doesn't look quite right with that lighter blue. I also have to go with 'O Holy Night' as my favorite Christmas song. It gets me every time, especially when someone can really belt out the loud parts like Carrie Underwood does.
