Spring was the first of the four seasons that Marilyn Leavitt-Imblum designed. She also did Noel Celtic lady and, afterward, did the other 3 seasonal ladies. There are pages out there dedicated to various interpretations as far as colorways and hair colors, etc. for the seasons. The purples that Marilyn used were developed by her and, I think, are no longer available, although there are other colors that will come close, I'm sure. Just wanted to drop a little info about the celtic ladies...and Marilyn-Leavitt Imblum, who was the owner and designer for all three of her lines: Lavender and Lace, Butternut Road and Told in a Garden.

You can’t always read and appreciate good literature but if you read a few mindless books every once in a while you’ll be able to see the difference. Love the kindle unlimited books! It sounds like you are having a great summer! So sorry to hear about your sunburn. I went to Martinique back when I was in my 20’s. I was so vigilant about wearing sunblock but on the last day I was in the sun and had forgotten to cover my feet. Thank goodness it was the last day - I was so burned on the topS of my feet and lower legs that I couldn’t wear pants for at least a week! Enjoy your time at home and getting back to regular stitching and reading.

🛬 awwww!! Best of luck to Fergus (hope I spelled his name right!) that he gets a clean bill of health from his vet and gets to leave behind that cone of shame! I had a cat named Oliver that was diagnosed w FUS and had to have that surgery and it was so touch n go w him at first but he pulled thru, alltho he hated me for a while cuz he needed to be on a restrictive (and expensive! 😭) diet which he did NOT like and let me know it but he had no choice but to get used to it quick! I bet ur kitty is so happy tho to not b in pain any longer so glad u were able to help him out ❤ So glad u r having an amazing summer n r getting to do all the fun things! Happy stitching! 🐈‍⬛🪡❤️

you have been a wonderful insipiration to me. I used to be an avid cross stitcher but over the years arthritis has made stitching very difficult. I won't give it up though I am just trying to find ways to stitch easier. Every time I watch your floss tubes I get so inspired. ✈️ Fun video! Loved everything you’re working on, and so excited for you on your estate sale find!! I read Funny Story for my book club. My first time reading an Emily Henry novel, and now I want to go back and read all of her books. I recently read an article about her. Unlike most authors, her books sell so well that her publisher does not require her to go on book tours. Emily credits much of the popularity to the artist who designs her book covers-they tend to draw shoppers in.

Hi, thank you! You know, I'm not really much of an aida stitcher and there are a lot of things going through my head when I film, so I can't guarantee I'll remember, but I'll try! As a rule of thumb though, I think all patterns are aida friendly unless they've got a lot of quarter stitches or over one stitches! So as long as a chart doesn't have those you should be good to go!

🛩️ The stitched pieces you got from the estate sale are amazing! So beautiful! I am not into stitching fancy ladies at all, but I would definitely hang those in my house if I found them. It sounds like you have had some amazing adventures. This month my husband and I went to British Columbia and spent 10 days there. I brought stitching with me. It was challenging stitching on the plane but I was able to do it. It does pass time nicely. I was able to visit The Stitcher's Muse in Ninaimo on Vancouver Island. It's fun to visit a needlework shop when traveling. Hope Fergus is totally back to normal soon.

I also find stitching on the plane a bit of a struggle, I was only able to do it because the middle seat on some of my flights didn't show up and I got to spread out, lol!

@@TheMuseumStitcher When we went to Canada last month my husband upgraded our seats for the long flight home. It was nice because there is way more stitching space in 1st class. Totally worth the extra money. One flight I was stuck next to an aisle sleeper that kept using the arm rest. I was totally stitching scrunched up.

Welcome back. My husband and I recently got back from visiting England where I also read Funny Story in between sightseeing. It was also my favorite Emily Henry book so far. I have been re-reading a big series (20 books) that I think you might enjoy if you run out of ideas. It is the Amelia Peabody series by Elizabeth Peters. I will say that the series gets really good in the middle but then peters out at the last few books but they are a fun murder mystery series centered around egyptian archaeology. I feel really lucky to have found them! So I've taken embroidery scissors on every flight since I started stitching and I've never had an issue! Now, I do have TSA Pre-check so that makes the TSA process a lot easier, but on my flight back from Turks and Caicos I didn't have any issues!
