I just love hearing your campfire stories. It's so scary when you encounter dogs while camping because you just never know wether they will be naughty or nice! I sure do miss camping. The two finishes you showed at the very beginning are beautiful. I would love to stitch those sometime. Your new design is simple and so nice. I’ll have to look into purchasing it in a paper copy. Your windy campfire story reminded me of a horrendously bad wind we had last week. I live on the coast in SoCal and we get a wind named the Santa Ana winds. They are very strong winds and usually it is a recipe for really bad wildfires. I have never lived through a wind like that one. When I got up my lights were flickering and then we lost power. It was off for about an hour. Later in the day, on the NextDoor app, someone posted a video of power lines sparking a long block behind the mobile home park I live in. Fortunately I don’t live in a high fire area but it was scary. I HATE wind. It lasted about 24 hors and then we were done. I was going to drive to Hobby Lobby that day but no way was I going to drive anywhere in that wind. We got through it but I will admit to being scared. Have a good two weeks and thanks for the video. It was a pleasant surprise to see the notification pop up.

I always enjoy your videos and they bring me joy! I love your new design. We also travel/camp with our smaller trailer and 5 dogs 😳. We've been pretty lucky with dog encounters. Off leash dogs always make my dogs and I nervous. Glad you found a safe place from the wind. On our last trip we skirted around hurricane Helene and got into some pretty crazy weather. Thanks for sharing. Your stitching and finishing is beautiful.,

Wind is scary in a camper I lived 1 1/2 yrs in my 5th wheel by myself and it is so scary for sure. Your finishes are so pretty, and the joy pattern is beautiful.

Another great episode, Chris! :) LOVE the new release! Your Midnight Watch is STUNNING on that fabric. I’ve had that pattern for eons and now I’m glad I didn’t start it because you’ve sold me on doing it on a pretty blue fabric. You campfire story had me on the edge of my seat… glad they were happy dogs but scary situation nonetheless. Filled with JOY that you, your husband, and dogs were okay. I imagine sitting out that storm was precarious too. Looking forward to your next episode, as always!

I am really glad you’re back. I love your flosstubes. I stitched a Mill Hill Snowman and Cardinal (Xmas ornament for a grandson) while we “chatted.” That typed of winds scare me when I’m on the road, even in a little car. I imagine Bob’s shoulders were tight on the end of the day, fighting that wind. I love your new design! Had to pop over and get one ASAP! Happy stitching!

My weekend camping story didn't turn out quite as good as yours did. I had a tree "kiss" the side of our RV and take off half a piece of trim and bend the canapy. Don't know what the cost will be to fix the RV, but it sure made the trip to Silver Dollar City expensive. Safe travels to you.

hi there, i have been looking for the Mill Hill frames to stitch in but haven't been able to find them on line. what joy i would have if I could fine them! Do you remember what Etsy shop you used or what they are called and I can try searching on Etsy... thank you, I think those will help not bend the perforated paper so much; I do a lot of Mill Hill from Oct - Dec especially!
