So sorry you lost you pup. Big hugs, we lost ours two December’s ago and it still hurts bad. Our other dog grieved too. Your pattern choices are like mine but your stitching is so beautiful. I love baskets but gave several away and am sorry now.

All of your finishes are beautiful. The frames you have chosen go so well with the designs. Your bear story reminds me of the day I took a walk with my dog in the neighborhood I lived in up in the Los Angeles area. It was nine in the morning and we were walking in the residential neighborhood I lived in. I looked down the street and a huge unleashed dog was running down the sidewalk straight at me and my dog. It then veered off to the right and crossed the street to run past me. I then realized it was a very well fed coyote. I live in an area that had hills across one of the main streets so the coyotes often came down to the neighborhoods. I had seen skinny boney coyotes at six in the morning but never a well fed one at a normal time of day. It wasn’t a bear like you but it wasn’t something I had expected to see at that time of day. From then on I was very aware of my surroundings. My dog was a little guy. Then I moved to the beach, thinking I had finally gotten away from the coyotes. Nope. My neighbor and I have one living on the other side of the wall behind our houses so now my dog isn’t allowed out by herself. The wild animals are everywhere. Thanks for you campfire story. I always enjoy them.

All your framed pieces are stunning! I have the Noel Sampler as a WIP too but since I'm starting 61 pieces for my birthday, I'm not picking it up. Maybe later in the year. Lisa the Kindred Stitcher changed all the colors for Christmas Garden. You'll have to go back 2 or 3 years in her videos to see it. I finished Christmas Garden maybe 4 years ago on 30ct French Vanilla and it's huge. I used the called for floss. I'm so sorry for the loss of your dog. I'm sure your dog near you is grieving. I lost my big Bubba cat 2 years ago and his mama and sister went off their food and just stayed near me. It's sad. Happy stitching!

Hi. I am sorry about your puppy. I hear ya about the paneling. 40 years ago I painted my 70's paneling. Everyone said it would peel. It never did. I painted it again a few years ago and i have always loved it. It looks great. I love watching your videos.

I had to frog some of the design on Noel Sampler because of the border but on the other side. You would think I would know by now to stitch the border before I add in the motifs. Love all your framed pieces.

It’s true….our brain tries to place the thing in a way that makes sense. Several years ago I was driving about a mile from my house when I saw 2 animals running across a farm field. I thought to myself…those are 2 of the mangiest dogs I’ve ever seen. Then it hit me…they were coyotes! I knew they were a possibility but you never see them during the day. They’d probably had a big night of hunting. Happy stitching. Pam

I would change it to the F&R fabric. Pirate Chicken, lol. Once I said to myself, Geez who's dog is that running loose on our property? It was a Javelina (collard peccary) which took me a minute to figure out, haaa, So glad I was IN the house. We have tons of wildlife here, but no Bears. And so sorry for your loss.
