I am an Aida stitcher. I usually only have 2 whips going at once. But right know have 4. Because Morty the moose and am going to my first cross stitch retreat and want to do all the things so am doing the exchange. I also have two quilts to get done. Oh Nancy! Same!! I took my teenage son to see IF this last Sunday. I thought it was a full blown comedy! So imagine my surprise as I sat there crying through most of that movie. I felt so dumb! I did not need to cry in front of my teenager so much. It was very sweet movie - but I clearly did not know what kind of movie it was!

Summer is a great time to stay inside and stitch in the cool air conditioning. I wish I had time to stitch and quilt. Hard to balance both hobbies when you work full time.

I love your first finish of Twelve Monthly Minis - I got that pattern booklet too and am looking forward to stitching those as a nice little fill in between larger projects. Jenn, I love your finish of the little stocking on the black aida. I'm planning on getting that booklet too but I'm still unsure of the fabric that I will use. I was doing a king size quilt for a client but it wasn’t wide enough so I had to add 6 inches on each side…it worked but whew! I will never ever do a king size one again…my long arm is only queen size….but we all learn to get creative and persevere ❤️ kudos! Excited to see the one you are designing 👏👏👏👏

I am so Happy Jenny you just said the magical words. I will be staying the night in Billings on Tuesday on my way home. I will be home for summer stitching. The flowers are in bloom here in Idaho as a matter of fact the crops where my Auntie lives are already up over a foot tall. While with my favorite Aunt I made 24 blocks complete and have the last 8 to complete they only have 3 seams each left. I forgot the fabric at home for the sashing. I bought fabric for another quilt at Sew Expo. I added another sewing machine to my collection. I got to see my son. He is the son who just retired after 20 years of active duty in the Air Force and whom I had not seen for three years. I gave him a machine. I still have a machine that I plan on selling. It is my Pfaff Passport 2.0. It only weighs 12 lbs and is great to drag around to quilt guild meetings and to retreats but I have the 3.0. The only difference is it doesn't have the built in thread cutter. Would love to see you ladies in person. Btw I have a long Arm mine is an APQS. I sold Juki's, Brothers & Pfaff s at my last job. My former job I sold Janome,Vikings and Elnas. The machine I gave my son was my Janome 6500. I have a Bernina 570QE and a Brother Luminaire. I finally got to finish watching you all. I felt bad that anyone would say anything negative. I love watching you both. I get a kick out of your interactions they remind me of me and my sister who I got to spend some great time with just recently. You all make me laugh.
