Chris great video. Love watching. Was happy when you started story time again, I really missed hear about your mom. I really teared up this time. I can’t imagine how hard it was for you to basically be abandoned by your mom and then have her come back and then leave again. I am so glad that you had a lot of emotional support to help you through this difficult situation. You made it through and became an amazing person with an amazing talent. Don’t like the cliffhanger but it keeps us looking forward to the next FlossTube. Love your neighbor Pauline❤

Happy New Year Chris 🎉 loved all your FFOs , And again you left us all hanging on the Mum saga you little minx 😅😅😅 as for the silks I used Ver A Soie ( Soie d'Alger) on my Sophia Doggett by hands across the sea designs , I stitched on 32 ct linen 2x2 threads and got an amazing coverages... Not sure what the coverage would be on 25ct with 1 strand though but if you buy one skein of the silk and do a little test square on the edge of your fabric just to see what works best before you commit, I must say Chris the Soie d'Alger are stunningly beautiful and beautiful to stitch with they glide through the fabric like butter , you don't get as many strand with them like DMC. Have a great rest of your week 💕 Happy stitching 😊

Stay warm and surly you will enjoy the snow. Different for us this year in northwest Wisconsin. We usually get lots of snow from November sometimes October, through April and May. But this year it has been warm into the 40’s, no snow for Christmas then it got cold the second week in January, as in last week and this week, windy- 35 below windchill and still we only have 2-3 inches of snow on the ground. So we are short about 3 feet of snow. Very very different. Certainly not a Dickens atmosphere. Take care and thinking of you and your misadventures with mama.

Hi Chris! I once again enjoyed your video and the continued story of your mother ( and grandmother). It always stirs up emotions remembering stories like this from our own family. My father and uncle’s mother ( a war bride nurse from England married and brought to Canada) died at 26 yrs old of blood poisoning. Their father had shell shock ( PTSD) and sent his sons at age 2&3 to Ontario from Saskatchewan to live with his two maiden sisters ( also both nurses) and their father. I always feel sad when I think of how they felt when other kids asked them where their mother and father was? And how sad they would have to reply😢. So your story saddens the Dickens out of me 🥰🧑🏻🦰🇨🇦
