I really like the idea of putting all of Brenda Gervais’s patterns in a binder. I seem to have collected an overwhelming amount of charts and this would work. Also love Elizabethanncanstitch 🥰 She is definitely an enabler. I just got a chart from your shop, the Prairie Schooler Alphabet for the Christmas letters. Kitting it up and starting this today for the mantle. Absolutely love your quilt blocks!!! Welcome back 🪡🧵❄️⛄️🥰

So nice to see you and your projects, Jen. I’m trying to complete some projects this year as I dislike having too many WIP’s..kind of overwhelms me. One of my new starts, though I’ve had the chart for some time, is Red Bird Sampler by Brenda Gervais. I agree with you that I could probably stitch everything she designs…the red and aqua in this chart makes me so happy and I’m enjoying trying out 36-count linen. I’m also hoping to finish some quilting projects. I have several quilt tops that just need to be layered and quilted! So I’m gradually working on those as well. Also, knitting socks which I always seem to have going. So I understand a lot of crafts! Best wishes for the new job and glad you are enjoying it as interim. Take care and hope to see you soon. Welcome back!!! You've been missed! Oh, my goodness! LUCKY YOU!!! Do not let those gift cards expire! Buy backs for the quilts you are planning on making. Buy fat quarters to use for finishing your small projects --> lining on your scissor roll, drums, the backs of pillows. Get a new cutting mat if you need one! GE Designs has a WONDERFUL two-sided cutting mat that is very good quality - the best I've ever seen! One year I bought some really nice flannel and made a set of pillow cases for my family and we all use them to this day! Have fun on your shopping adventures!!! PS - I had to chuckle a couple of times - you organize just like me with binders, sleeves, even down to putting in the fabric and floss for the pattern! (Otherwise I can't remember what I was going to do with it... 🙄) Sampler

Lovely to see you back! I too am doing a seven day rotation of WIPs. I have lots of large, old WIPs I still want to complete. I share the dilemma of wanting to start new designs, while still loving the old ones! Wishing you all the best in your new role.
