Love your videos! The Mirabilia Christmas Tree beads say that there is a sufficient number of treasures included. So there should be enough beads to finish that project. Happy stitching!

I love the way you pick up a box of Kreinik and call it the precious box of metallics. And how some things deserve to be stitched! You really got lucky at the estate sale! I’m so happy for you! You do beautiful work and all of those kits should keep you busy for a long time! ❤😅

I am watching this video back (it is nice to have on while stitching and to be inspired) and noticed you said that the beads for the Nora Corbett Christmas tree kit aren't all included. However, I think you might have misread it! It says that there IS a sufficient amount of treasures, not an insufficient amount. It seems there should be enough! 😄

Oh my heart, your finds at that estate sale are just unbelievable!!!! So happy for you!! Now I am totally on the hunt for Jeanette's northern lights sampler And the Atlantic sampler....both have special meanings to me!!!!! I love your enthusiasm for this craft! 🥰

I still can not believe my luck with this finds! And I showed you only patterns/ kits I also got so much beads, fabric and a little bit of fancy floss! Still best shopping I ever had 😀

Laughed when I saw you got the Noel pattern. Good thing your was kitted out with the hanger and fabric. You can’t find those or the original button anywhere. You might want to look at the Ecru Perle on the fabric. I wish I had done mine with white Perle. I liked how it looked on the pattern picture as opposed to what it looked like in real life.

Such amazing kits. I can't imagine what other treasures were at that estate sale. It also makes you wonder what the woman actually did stitch because her choice of kits that we saw here are beautiful. Maybe do a sampler as you have so many ready to go.

Such a fun stash parade! I am going to go have a watch of the others; but I giggled when you said "I need to shop, I miss shopping." Spoken like a true cross stitch collector! Don't worry, I am too. I think we have two hobbies, 1) stitching cross stitch, and 2) collecting cross stitch! Yes! Shopping for cross stitch and stitching it it’s 2 hobbies just very close to each other lol 😀 Thank you for the tip I’ll check it out! I’m thinking of combining fancy and DMC floss. Fancy just for important details and regular for regular stitching :)

It’s such a dream of mine to stumble upon an estate or tag sale with tons of cross stitch, you’re so lucky! If all of these beautiful kits of hers ended up being sold/discarded I wonder what happened to her finished works and the things she did stitch

That’s the first thing that people purchased! Because when I walked in that house wall were empty with wholes in it and her friend said lots of people got her work and it made me very happy that her work will make someone else happy 😊

I still can not forgive myself that I didnt took all of the DMC boxes I means it was like 5 big boxes full of DMC and other floss and I was so distract by kits I didn’t even think about it

I loved this video, Katie! Some of the patterns, when you first showed them, I didn’t see the appeal. But then you would explain details I didn’t notice before like the way the light was represented. Then I could appreciate the pattern more. It was like seeing it through someone else’s eyes. So cool! I’m wondering- do you find stitching with Kreinik challenging? It has a beautiful effect but I find it tricky. Maybe you have more patience than me!

Oh no, how mortified I was when you said they'd thrown them out! Honestly why when there's thrift and charity shops and people would want them. People think because I don't want them no one would and just throw good things away. Such a shame, glad to hear you managed to hoard some beforehand. I did end up finding a good deal on Maggie the Messmaker after you posted her I couldn't resist!! ☺

My heart dropped when they told me this at the library, after this I promised myself if I’ll ever have this opportunity again I will not be shy and will get everything that I like 😀 Maggie the messmaker!! Oh yes fun fact I found her on that same estate sale and I put her in a pale with lots of other kits but I got distracted I forgot that pile 🥲 so I end up ordering her from Amazon 😀 really want to start her but a little bit terrified 😀

I have the Just Nan Christmas Memories pattern - 2 of them! I loved it so much! Lol! I did stitch one up - I am heartbroken!!!!! At the bottom where there is what looks like lace stitched (I think that's the correct pattern) my 'white' lace stitches ALL turned yellow!!! Where we used to live, it ended up becoming a swamp! We only rented....the owners did not care! The excess moisture in our house ruined a LOT of fabrics, turning them yellow. I tried to get it out - major failure! Now I'm looking at either frogging the stitches out OR better would be to restitch the design on NEW fabric! Fabric/linen that has not gotten full of moisture! Believe me, though, it is a gorgeous piece when stitched! One other thing that happened, ALL the Mill Hill beads that came with the pattern ALL lost their luster! It's as if the coating on the beads came off! Some Mill Hill beads are the same color through the entire bead, but others do have a coating of color on them, I believe today these beads are made entirely a better way! I'd vote for Just Nan patterns! Lol!!! I LOVE her designs! Thank you for sharing this with us!!! It's very appreciated!!! Happy stitching away!!!

Such fun time seeing all kits. You know, there are a lot of stitchers doing Sampler Semptember, just saying. ;) I love the Janlyn Christmas sampler with black fabric, but that is not fitting for May. Possibly for a Yule in July if you want to do that. If you decide against doing a sampler month, my "vote" goes to starting one of the garden samplers at least. :) They looked very lovely.

Woooow, the things from the estate sale are insane! At first I thought: what a bummer the library threw it all way. But seeing now the lady kitted all the patterns already with hand dyed floss and beads and all, it absolutely breaks my heart.

I saved almost all kits, but again back than I didn’t know much, so I hope I saved most precious ones But there were boxes upon boxes with floss and fabric and back than I knew only DMC floss and I didn’t know where to use other ones so I just ignored it and now mi sad about it 😀 But I saved what I saved and very happy and grateful with my finds ✨
