Have gone a floss tube rabbit hole. Stumbled on your videos a couple days ago and have watched almost all. Love your humor and quirkiness. Your work is amazing and the Fox is super cute. Never used specialty threads before, just DMC or whatever comes in a kit. I am hoping to start my own floss tube here shortly. Was planing on filming this weekend but came down with a nasty cold. Hi there from stormy UK! You are not the only one who has not started The Fox yet! I was blown away when I discovered Cottage Garden Samplings last year and started to follow them to see what new designs they are working on. I think the 'Year in the Woods' looks like their best series to date. So far I have been resisting to start as I am trying to bring number of my wips down. I 'only' have 25 but about more than a half are large projects or HEADs... Oh, my goodness!!! I thought < I > was the only person who hasn't gotten The Fox yet!!! In November, 2020, for my birthday, I 'treated' myself to a HAED Material Pack ($$$). Telling myself, I couldn't buy or start anything until I got at least 50% of said HAED completed. I started it for "Christmas in July" and am currently at 14.28%, only thanks to Pattern Keeper! ☺ The Fox pattern immediately caught my eye and it has almost, *almost*, tested my deal with myself! 😄

Hi Katherine or Catherine And no, you are not the last one to buy or order the FOX. I might be. You have my kind of mindset and humor. I'm glad you succumbed to starting a new one. Yeah, maybe you didn't need another one, but like you said, there are so many sparkles and glitters out there and we want them all. After watching your Mirabilia video, I was hooked. I always wanted to start one as it seems that every cross stitcher is doing one, or completed their rites of passage. But, I couldn't find THE ONE for me. And then, it happened. I found Ella, the Frog Princess (MD129). I love her sassy look and the hand on her hip said..."that is so you, she's the one!" I bought 11 HAEDs during the Valentines sale. I had a bunch in my wishlist, and when I perused the site I found that my tastes and wants changed. I don't believe the patterns I bought. I got storykeeps, and minis, and 5 full HAED's. You've done so much. Lovely work. Your Mirabilia collection is just wow. I want to stitch the fox so much. In Germany are only a view cross stitch stores. And it is often difficult to get the new charts.

Hello from Alberta, Canada! I have only found you quite recently, and really enjoy watching you. I do not have as many WIPS as you, but I could quite easily reach that number! I was a monogamous stitcher for many years, and it wasn’t until I found Flosstube 6 years ago, that I learned that it was OK to have more than one project on the go at once! I currently have somewhere in the mid 20’s for WIPs. I too am a Dimensions Gold kit collector, so thoroughly enjoyed watching you go through those. As for Mirabilia! Well don’t get me started! I remember saying to my eldest daughter when I first came back to cross stitching 7 years ago, that I couldn’t see what all the fuss was about stitching ‘fancy ladies’. Now I have at least 40 all kitted and ready to stitch, and finished Snow Queen last year and have her hanging up year round! I would have joined in with your giveaway, however, I already own it! But I haven’t started it yet, so you won’t be alone when you start stitching on it.

I felt the same way about Mirabilia and the fancy ladies. I loved the fairies though. And then, I decided it was kind of a rite of passage for a cross stitcher to do at least one fancy lady, so for my birthday start I searched for just the right one. I went to 123 stitch (because I like their fair shipping price), and after scrolling throught 80% of them, I came across Ella, The Frog Princess. I loved the hand on her hip and the frog in her hand. She was just so sassy, like me! But, I am doing my first conversion and it's not easy. I want a lime sherbert fabric, with a pastel and medium green and yellow dress. I loved the Frog Princess dress on the cartoon character. So now, I'm waiting for the fabric. Stitch happy, Iris
