Couching does not have to use pearl cotton. It's often done with strands of regular floss but you did explain the process well.

I absolutely adore when you guys post a new video! Thank you for the laughter and joy you bring to cross stitch! With markup, you can manually search for and add symbols to your key. I scan my paper patterns onto my computer and save as a pdf so they are clear, and then usually I have to manually go through and create my symbol/color list in markup. The search magnify icon allows you to select a symbol and then it will give you a sensitivity drag bar to use. So if you don’t have them all increase it, if you have symbols that are similar but not the one you want you would decrease. Its sounds more complicated than it is once you get used to it! It’s actually almost a data entry peaceful thing for me. I enjoy it haha. I am honestly not sure if allowed, but I would be happy to take your pdf and get it setup and export it back to you if you want to use markup for your project rather than paper!

Some charts I have trouble with markup and the app finding the symbols because of the ink color. But overall scanning helps a lot for the clarity! There is a fb group for help too if you are not in there!

Justin is looking so good! I can’t believe you’re going to stitch the white clouds! 🤯 I’m definitely leaving them unstitched. That’s the whole reason I didn’t dye them. I did add about 5 extra gray stitches to cover some small blue bits in the clouds. It really is a huge project! The castle is as big as my hand and I thought that was supposed to be background. I love the idea of a bright red frame for it. 🤡🧙‍♂️🏰 The pillow backed in bacon fabric is impeccable! I’ve never seen bacon fabric before. 🥓🍳 Within a Dream is such an awesome pattern. Oven been eyeing it and don’t know if I can resist.
