Consider size 24 needle for your metallic as well as the needle threader. It will move the fabric threads further apart.

It took months to find this pattern and after a couple hundred stitches realized i wss working on wrong side of fabric.frogged whole thing . Ended up making anothet mistake. Gonna work around it cause i absolutely love this pattern. Dont like all the quarter stitches.😊😢

I use a lot of Fabric Flair but I've never washed it. Maybe try a scrap first in cold water? I'd be surprised if you had any issues. Your cat is a crack up. I think Angel is bigger than our dogs, maybe even two of our dogs put together! 😆

Can you wash a corner of the fabric flair to test it before washing the whole piece? I use a 22 needle for Kreinik and whisper thread (horrible to work with -to me) on 32 count linenthat I use for Miribilias,
