I just love you two and your banter :) Don't ever change your Flosstube forrmat! And I LOVE the Christmas rounds and Shiny Brite reference! So so cute! And sticking the boxwood trim in with a pin! *mind blown* That's genius! For your finishing, did you just do the fabric on another round and glue the backs together? Then glued the cording around the edges? It's just so cute, and finishing is always so intimidating to me, other than a hoop or frame, lol. Glad you had a grand time at IA SO state games! Congrats to all the athletes!!

Yes, 2 rounds that are stitched together. There are finishing instructions in with the Round finishing kit if that helps. I also have a number of flat finish tutorials on the website that show how I assemble ornaments! Finishing takes practice and def gets easier with time!

Very nice designs, floss colors & finishing. I like a few specialty stitches thrown in. Take a bit of time off Mr. HOD. Happy "Sunday" Stitching, this is when I get the most cross stitching done.

Did my first over one stitching on Gather Wildflowers and also got to learn how much more difficult frogging over one is 😅 But I do agree with others, the detail achieved is well worth it. You did mention a finishing tutorial for the Gather rounds, but I can't seem to locate it. Can you add a link to the video description?

Thanks for your question. I had a Thanksgiving theme in mind when I designed that one. I thought it could be tucked into a basket or tablescape. I have a number of these 'rounds' - I do have one for a patriotic type display called Liberty Pennies. This is the series that's not a series ;) - I'm having fun with the rounds & this size. So far there is Gather at the Table, Liberty Pennies, Classic Haunt & Botanical Bee. I have more planned for that size. I didn't call is a series because I didn't want to get stuck with a theme, color palette, linen color, etc... The unifying bit is the size (now I'm calling it the 4 3/8" series!!)

Love your floss-tubes and your designs (though *not at all* into faux strawberries!) but really -- RE fabric cuts: lest anyone thought they could a) knit; b) quilt: c) embroider; d) do cross-stitch *without a basic understanding of math*...sorry, eh? Get a grip -- and/or consult your LNS staff and/or get a piece of paper and figure out what you need. When in doubt, add an inch or two or three on ALL sides. It will work out. Learning how to do what you love is worth the effort.
