Just finished watching all of your videos- love that you shared the books that you’ve read. Know you’re very busy doing summer things, but once the garden comes in, maybe we could get a peek? DH and i just moved into a tiny town in the western end of the Appalachians and put in our first garden in about 25 - 30 years! Gardening has changed so much since then. Hope all is well and we see you again.

Hi Shanda, Such a treat to sit on Saturday morning with a new video. I am new to your channel and this is only my second video but I am going to go back and watch them. We have so much in common and I saw that with the first video but now hear you also married in 1987. Yes, the framing with mat is so of the time. And we didn't have all the linens and threads when I started cross stitching at a young age. So framing like that made us feel so accomplished. 😉 Congratulations on your beautiful finishes. I am making sampler dough bowl fillers but have not seen that Blackbird freebie. Have to look it up. A Camp Moda bag with badges? Really...how fun is that. If you don't have enough badges, you could create some. Maybe some stitched ones? I love your project bags! The second one with the brown fabric and country motief and tree speak to my heart. I am at my woodland cottage for the weekend and love all things outdoor and country. I also love 50 shades of brown...with muddy colors mixed in. 😂😂😂 Be safe in the snow storms we are hearing about. Here in The Netherlands,it is springing into a new season and the snowdrops, crocuses and daffodils are coming out. Happy stitching 🧵

Ooo, I’ll dig deep in the memory banks but it was from mid 2000’s - a company called Open Gate Designs and the pattern was called Dancing Stars. It was a kit from Quilters General Store, Rockford Illinois.
