Thank you! Very good demonstration of how to use it. I am looking for one to use sitting in a chair. This looks great!

Hi Lisa, I've had a lap frame and a floor stand frame for about 12years now and coupled with using a magnifier, these are the best thing since sliced bread. I found my stitches were more even and stitching was quicker both for cross stitch and embroidery

Great review Lisa, thank you for the shout out. If you go on to etsy and punch in Klass and Gessmann you will find stands and table clamps etc on there from Bulgaria very quick service. Hope this helps anyone. Happy stitching sweetie hugs to Daisy xx

Hi Lisa, I found because I’m, a well built lady I could not use it, as it hurt my thighs, so gave it away, don’t get me wrong, I think it is just great, but not if you have a slightly well built frame, haha,

Can't decide between the 2 Elbesee Lap Stand Models offered ! This one has "static" hoop i.e. you MUST use the Hoops included & they are attached to Stand Post. Other Model just has a Clamp Head so you can place your own Hoops and it seems less "flexible" than the one you're reviewing? In regards to overall "support", it seems the 1 Piece (the one we're viewing) would be sturdier than just clamping my own Hoops? Being 1 Piece, the weight & pressure gets distributed. Re: Original Designs - Wood warps! so the plastic "joints" on both Models seem a better option overall. Ugh! Decisions! Perhaps someone else is demonstrating that Model. Thank you for your Demo, it is greatly appreciated.

This was very useful, thank you. I'm going to click your amazon link but get the model that just has the big frame because that's all I need, so hopefully you still get a referral credit for it.
