What I’ve discovered by watching flosstube is I don’t have nearly enough WIP’s. You’re all inspiring me to start more this year!

I only have 1 Cross Stitch WIP (it's 30+ years in progress - long story) and am so excited that most Flosstubers I've watch have MANY WIPs. I certainly have many WIPs for the other needlecrafts I do, so I'm looking forward to "catching up" by starting a whole bunch of things in the next few months! I'm all about the process with my crafts.

Great WIP parade! You have such a variety of wonderful pieces. I especially LOVED “Two Birds” by Modern Folk Embroidery. The colors are scrumptious! WOW! I hear you on the pdf charts! If you have an iPhone, you can scan a document in the Notes app with your phone camera. I scan all my paper charts now so I can work from them digitally 😊 Lovely WIPs x

Loved your WIP parade. Your Consider the Lillies is just beautiful and love your changes... that actually makes me want to do it despite its size. Your colour combos are gorgeous too. For full coverage, i just can't do royal rows or parking. My brain just doesn’t get it. I do extreme cross country, and i love seeing the whole picture emerge.

Your hair looks really cute. Great WIP parade, for darker fabric I actually need an overhead light and use one of those clamp on booklights on my hoop or qsnap to light up the back so I can see the holes lol and magnified too

Love all the colors on Pandemic! And regarding UFOing it, depending on what kind of phone you have you can take pictures of the pattern and it can turn them into a scanned document. You can also go to the library and they can scan to email for you and it'd be in a document easy peazy.

What we do in the shadows! Yesss! But only one more season, boooo! You’ll have to let us know when it’s coming out. I’m glad to see you haven’t finished spooky bats yet. I don’t feel so bad. I haven’t quite finished Evenora from Nora Corbett that I got to replace spooky bats as a Christmas present for my son. He’s coming to visit in a week and I hope to start the beading by Monday. I sort of forgot about the framing part. Eek! You have enabled me several times so don’t feel bad about all the wips. You’ve got so much to choose from when you want to stitch what your mood is!

I LOVED YOUR WIP PARADE!!!! I can’t believe the number of times I opened up my iPad and wrote down new patterns. I wanted to get. Unexpected Visitors and All Are Equal in Death have been purchased. Bad Vibes lead me to the Heart Sampler! I ordered that and the peony fiber on the whim fabric. They are going to be my Valentine’s Day start. Also am looking into the move forward in love modern folk embroidery pattern. I love the fabric you used.!!! Here’s the kicker, I’m old enough to be your mom. Hi, on that Long Dog Sampler piece, don't buy it again until you contact them. Say what happened in an email & use your order number as proof of purchase. Ask them to send it for free. All they can do is say no. What do you have to lose? Give it a shot. Hope this helps.

Loved seeing all of your WIPS, my grandmother made one of those stand up santas as a door stop for Christmas. She filled it will .. i don't know something heavy so it didn't topple over. Love your haircut! Love your WIPs! Furbaby commentary priceless! I started Vanity Sampler with your conversion on Christmas Day. Halloween at Hawk Run became a WIP for me in October. I was determined to finish all of the borders before the end of 2023 so I could pick it up this year and stitch whatever I wanted. It actually went so much faster than I expected. I am also stitching a Modern Folk Embroidery pattern with the same pink fabric and thread as you. Thank you for being such a stitching inspiration.

I do not know how to stitch a full coverage project. Do you know of any tutorials on FlossTube that I can watch? The projects you picked from Heaven and Earth Design are gorgeous. You can never have too many WIPS because you are exploring your potential and creativity. Great haircut.

It's going to be a long one, so I might as well write as I watch... First, love the no WIP number shaming policy! Do whatever you feel comfortable with! It's your hobby. I'm doing something similar with the MFE Pride SAL. The colorful version on the outside and the monochrome design inside the medallion, but each word in another color in the rainbow flag order. Love the Vindaloo guest appearance! Love all the SALs and the influence of your awesome friends, especially Marjorie. I'd love seeing the Wizard as a stand up stuffie. It would be so good! We forgive you for the 2 secret WIPs. Way to go with starting Halloween at Hawk Run Hollow! It's going to be fun to see that one coming together! Thank you for a fantastic WIP Parade! I don’t use a program for my color conversions, I just research lots of pictures of floss and fabric and look through my dmc stash and just play around with color. I use MarkUp RX to mark off my stitches and get a preview of what it will look like with my color changes.

Hi Cameron! I just found your Flosstube and totally enjoyed it. I live in NY but my son & his family live in NOVA and we go down to visit a few times a year. They used to live in Falls Church but now live in Burke. However they are having a house built a little further out. Can you recommend a cross stitch store in the area?

Thanks for sharing your WIPs. On the Empress Eugenia full coverage, and really, any full coverage ... would you like working on it more if you crop out some of the background? There's a lot at the top, and even some on the right hand side, that could be eliminated and you'd still have a wonderful piece.

I haven’t heard of any NOVA stitching groups! But I also don’t frequent the LNS in my area. It might be worth checking Facebook groups or any local crafty spaces.
