I am way behind on flosstubes and just watched your end of year flosstube. You accomplished a lot - doubly so with a full time job, new house and bejng a mom! Kudos. On a sad note, I know its way overdue but I'm so sorry about the loss of your dog. Its so hard losing our fur kids. Cancer stinks.

I understand tumors because i have had 3 tumor surgeries and think that your dog going home is a blessing. My pain is so high that it is unbelievable at times. Take care and continue to find joy in your life.

Goodness - I hope docs can help you with your pain. Quality of life for our animals is always a priority for me so I'm glad Liesl isn't suffering anymore. The house is still very empty without her despite that it's almost been a full month. Here's to a stitchy 2024.

I love Trick or Trezt, with the black outline done. Then your bottom row just bursts with color and detail. It will be huge when it's done and a family treasure for sure. Your Templar Sampler is going to be awesome, but as I suffer from extreme fatigue, I get being too tired to pick it up. You have great wips. Your new start is from one of the best designers of fancy ladies. Her faces.....I lost my boy Buster Brown, a few months ago, too. He had a heart attack and died within 8 hours. I am so sad for you. I am praying things go well for you and the girls. You are so strong, but the strong suffer in silence a lot. ❤

@@msufly I know … it was almost like we weren’t having winter, and now we are definitely having winter. It’s very shocking to the system. I really prefer when we have just a little bit of snow on the ground and temperatures in the mid 20s. I don’t like it when my face feels like it’s gonna freeze off and I can’t walk outside. I’m also not looking forward to the end of this week when we’re supposed to get rain because that’s gonna turn all of our back roads into great big sheets of ice.

What a great video! All those full coverage pieces! I have just gotten a stand that will support my Mellenium frame, so I am looking forward to starting to work again on Randal Spanglers' Rose Trellis Inn. I live in Southern Alberta, Canada. We have no snow either and it has been very mild. I think we will get hit with some soon. I am ok with that, as I am not working for most of January and plan on settling in for a lot of stifching! I am so sorry about the loss of your dog. It is never easy. We lost our last one due to sudden neurological issues at 11:45 pm Christmas Eve, 2017, He is our forever Christmas Angel. I'm so sorry about your fur baby, the only way I get through the loss of a fur baby is that I know I gave them the best home and they were loved, and I'm sure you did the same. In regards to the odin piece, I hope you do pull it out and start working on it again, and whatever it reminds you of, don't let it affect your love of the piece and do it in spite of it, and stick up a metaphorical finger up to it . I hope you and your family have a good year and whatever life throws at you the strength to face it. ❤

Thanks! I've tried doing exactly that before with the Odin piece but it might've been too soon after some events. I hope to be able to stitch on it later this year with exactly that attitude. May Odin assign his ravens to watch those who need to be supervised and give them what they deserve.

Oh Kim, I am so so sorry for the passing of your fur baby. Our fur babies are without doubt the most loyal and give unconditional love and devoted service to their families. I can empathize and feel your pain in your words and see it in your face. Big hugs. He will always be with you in your heart. I lost both of mine within 4 months of one another this past year and can say that they are sorely missed. Thank God for stitching, it gives comfort in it's rhythmic movements and in the end the joy/ satisfaction in the accomplishment when it is done. I loved your WIP parade. You always pick such interesting projects. I think I can finally pick up the kitten and the rose in Leo's honor. I could never have a bunch of flowers with roses in them without him sitting and sniffing them. It is a perfect piece in his memory. I looked up the principle of clemency in the US to understand it better. Be well, you are a strong powerful and capable woman, much admired by many . Whatever that bad news i hope it doesn't taint your New Year. Love and hugs and a better New Year full of wishes for peace and lots of stitching time are coming their way to you.🎉

Thanks Julie. I know it took me awhile to pick up the memorial piece that I made for my greyhound that I lost in 2014. I can't imagine losing 2 pets within months of each other. I am soooo sorry. I recently lost my Granddoggie. He was the best doggie (a little Shih Tzu ) He was 15 and his back legs stopped working and he was too old for surgery. ☹️ Animals are sooo smart, I swear they are human! And, we love them sooo much! Again I am so so sorry.

I'm just so so sorry about your fur baby. That hurts so deeply. 😢. You have done a wonderful year of stitching despite life happening to interrupt your hobby. I enjoy your end of year progress report. I hope you have a spectacular year ahead. Your June news hopefully will work out to your advantage. I don't know what the principle of clemency is, so I'll have to go look that up. Full coverage fanatics is a great group with lots of opportunities to move projects along. Hello, I've just come across your channel. My name is Kim also and I live in New Boston Michigan. Your pieces are beautiful. What device and program are you using to keep track of your stitching? I've started a HAED that was purchased long as a paper book chart. When I purchased the online chart the symbols and colors were all different so I'm stuck with the paper charts. How can I get the paper charts loaded on a program so I can keep track of my stitches? I would appreciate any tips you may have for me. I haven't stitched on it in months. The paper chart is so hard to work off of. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Kimmy Merchant

@kimmerchant2471 Hi Kim! I have an excel sheet that I made myself that I track my progress on my WIPs and my goals but I use Pattern Keeper to stitch with. It is possible to manually load a paper chart to PK but it's a long process and you might have to adjust the gridlines on each page. Once it's in PK, you still can't search by symbol like you can on a pdf chart. Unfortunately I don't have any good answers. I'd pick a way to stitch that HAED systematically to make it easier using the paper chart. Sorry!
