Maybe it's just me, but I don't mind the sound of the plastic or zippers. The plastic reminds me of opening gifts and I get excited as if I were the one opening a present waiting to see what will be shown next lol I had to pause and look up some of the goodies you shared more than once! Wow, I don’t feel so bad about all my kitted projects waiting for me to start. I returned to cross stitching this year after about a 20 yr break and I’m obsessed, lol. When I buy a pattern I order the floss/fabric at the same time. So much easier that way. Love your floss drops. I’ve been making my own when I don’t buy them from sellers in Etsy. Hi Vicki, I'm at 1hr16min of your video and you mentioned you don't do linen, yet. Neither do I, but, I was watching a Jean Farish video, I think it was an older one and she said, if you ever want to branch out into linen, her advice was to try a Cashel. So, I'm going to chance it and order a piece or two from 123 stitch. I love your videos, thanks for keeping me company as I make a ton of floss drops. BTW, loved the tour of your room. I hope your back didn't mess up.

Oh my gosh Vicki! What a feast for the eyes...and wallet! What a kit parade! Your fabric choice for Moonlight Sampler is intriguing! I think it's going to look amazing! Can't wait to see your start! I did the Lizzie Kate Be Naughty before Christmas this past year. A very fun, quick stitch. Didn't love the buttons so used small crystal beads instead and added tiny snowflake buttons throughout the letters. I have admired the Year in the Woods patterns for awhile now and that blue fabric looks amazing with those threads. That fox! Can't wait to see that start too! Thank you so much for sharing! I have a lot of charts but only about 5 works in progress. You do have a lot a beautiful projects to work on. Love Mirabilias. I've done two but have two more charts I haven't gotten to. I did Fairy Flora I did twenty years ago and July Amethyst Fairy. I got a little mouse picture wearing a knitted hat that I'm currently working on - Deco Beauty, and Heaven and Earth design called College of magical knowledge. The last one is The Flower Lady which I charted myself. This was a long video, but I was stitching the entire time I was watching it. What a way to spend a day off from work.

I have not been to the shops in NOVA, but hope to this summer! Dyeing to Stitch is closest to me, but I also visit cross stitch station in Waynesboro quite frequently since I have a daughter at JMU, & Terry will ship to you very quickly if she has what you need, & if not, she’ll order it right away. She’s fabulous if you haven’t met her or been to the shop! & when headed to Dyeing to Stitch, just take 17, such a nicer drive with great places to visit in between! I will do all things to avoid 95 if I can😂

So much good stuff in here, some of them I have as well 💗 I too have many more things kitted than I can either start or finish within the year, but for me it’s just that extra comfort in knowing that if I want to do something else I can have that option. (Also sometimes plans change and that’s an ok option too 🤪) I try to do the same thing about purchasing beads, buttons etc at the time I get the charts. I feel comfortable enough now to figure out something else for flosses but those other things I like to have the called for.

I have enjoyed this so much! Definitely added a few to my wishlist. Out of curiosity do you get tired of stitching on neutral fabrics? Also- how on earth do you do fractionals on aida? I started 2 miras over because I couldn't do the fractionals on the aida I wanted them on. They looked terrible lol I do what you do and kit up most of the projects so that when I get the itch they are ready to do when I please! My problem is running out of storage space now living in my small town house 🤣
