I really loved your recap of the big stitch and I too was really overwhelmed in the vendor area with so much choices 😅. But you picked up some lovely things 😊. I was going to take a taxi to the venue because I can't walk that distance between the hotel and the venue but I really lucked out with the people I met on Friday in the hotel and I could ride with them. And the people I met where really generous and welcoming in general 😄

Sounds like you had a wonderful time at big stitch and before. Shame you got sick... ✨ Good you will be meeting Alex here at StitchBasel this year, as we don't have workshops or big events planned, so you Alex, Fanny and Marion can sit & stitch & talk for 3 days at the retreat and being in the middle of the city, go sightseeing and just enjoy spending real time together 😊

What a great video my wonderful friend ❤️ I love the vlog style and it was really entertaining. Sorry the trip didn’t go as planned but you definitely made the best of it and thankfully didn’t stay at that hotel 🤣🙈

The little pouches you made are adorable! One tip I got for when travelling alone is always book the room for 2, so they think someone else will be coming, but yes glad you got out of the gross hotel. Loved your video. ⭐️

I am so glad you enjoyed big stitch. I know Kim I’ve been to retreats with Kim stitch con three times, and she went to the very first crazy woman retreat. She usually hangs out with Brenda, the hand work maniac, and my best friend lives in the same town as she does so, we run across each other at a couple of retreats. Your husband did a great job on the floss drops thank you for taking us along on your trip. What a great ending to your hotel situation. I would have gotten out of there too.

It was wonderful to see some of the other elements of your trip and a reminder of what a great weekend we all had. I can't wait to do the next retreat together whenever that may be! I loved all my gifts and don't worry I have shared them all on my Flosstube too. Thank you for being part of my weekend - it really was wonderful to spend time with you. xxx

Your story of the hotel reminded me of a professional trip I made…I did stay one night but the mould on the walls was awe’s fun and things scurried under my bed. A local dentist invited me to stay at his family home…a home that has been in Better Homes and Gardens three times. I am so glad you got out…darn you got sick but you still had a wonderful time...next time healthy. 🦉🪡🧵🔆

1⭐️ Great vlog! So sorry you felt ill. Wish you a very nice retreat in Basel. I was there in 2023, first StitchBasel and it was fun. 😁 I bought there the Quacker too so will surely join the Qack-a-long! The pattern can be uploaded in Pattern Keeper!
