Awww, Mel! Your Hawk Run Farms is just stunning! I love all your changes of color, and your personalizations 🤗. They are just amazing. I started mine the same time you did, when you and Shirl McKinney hosted the SAL. You did so much better than I did…I am only doing the 3rd block (the Barn Raising) because I’m doing the other layout. Boy, I sure wish I would have known about sharing the borders earlier! LOL 😆 Talk about saving lots of stitches!! I’m saving your video to my Keepers, so I can refer back to your great color conversions, like the water in the ponds, and the flowers and birds…I hope you don’t mind if I steal some of your ideas for inspirations on color changes of my own! Awesome job. I’ve been wanting to do a hawk run piece but I haven’t found one that I really liked. I had no idea they had a farm one. We lived on a farm for 12 years And I’d love to do this one to commemorate that time.

Great job! When I need foam core I go to a local frame shop and get the size I need. Not sure if you have that option. I was also wondering if you stitched the reins in the hay wagon square. Couldn't see any but it could just be a light floss that doesn't show up well. On to the next big project 🤪. I think us stitchers must be a little crazy sometimes.
