Hi Kirsty, you have so many lovely projects! The Huntsman is looking great already and I love your colour choices for the pandemic sampler, it looks so nice one over one. I particularly like your Fine Farmhouse finish and the frame is perfect. Fab charity shop find as well! Look forward to catching up with you on your next video, Kelly (old timer!) x

Hello old timer 🤣🤣 thank you for watching 😁 i think the charity shop find is better from a distance, now I have shown it and plonked it on the sideboard it looks great. I am very pleased with my fine farmhouse finish but wonder if I should put the other piece , country Village from in a hoop, it ideas to really stand out at the moment? I hope all is well with you 😊

I can't believe how close you are to the edge! I don't trust my counting so I start in the middle. Completing the border before the middle would be great. Take care.

I know it’s sooo close 😱 but I will just have to frame it close 🤣 I have learnt the error of my ways (finally after 2 mess ups!) thank you for watching and commenting 😊 Happy Stitching

Hi Kirsty!! Great video! You like giving me a heart attack with the fabric Russian roulette on if it will fit 😂 glad to hear this one is fine as well! You have been busy Kirsty😃! For some reason I feel drawn to The Huntsman, it's not one I would normally go for, so I must remember to look out for. It was good to see you on the zoom meeting last night although we didn't see that much of you😒. The retreat will be here in a blink of an eye😃. Enjoy all the stitchy goodness. Stay safe🤗

Hi Kirsty! I’m new to your channel but I enjoyed the projects you showed, and am now subscribed. I actually have the Kathy Barrick farm pattern in my collection, but haven’t stitched it yet. I’d never seen anyone else show it or stitch it, so that’s why I clicked on this video! I often measure my fabric for projects and forget about it later when I’m ready to start, but I’ve learned to leave myself a note with the pattern. Something like “Needs 14x18 fabric on 32 ct, includes 1 inch border.” Glad your red sampler still fits though, it is gorgeous so far. Happy stitching!

Thank you 😊 I found your channel only to find you are going away for a few months 🤨🤣 all the best with the rest of your grad work 🤞 I really enjoyed the Kathy Barrick piece but it did take longer than I had anticipated, I have definitely learnt my lesson regarding fabric ( it’s taken two mishaps!) Have a good Xmas and New Year and I look forward to watching your return video 😁

Gorgeous WIPs Kirsty. I love the pink fabric for your Dutch Sampler and you stitching is exquisite on them all. I’ve heard some folks tea dye after stitching by dipping a cotton ball in tea and dabbing around the piece, that way you can layer the tea dye so it doesn’t get too dark too quickly.
@craftingkirsty2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching 😁 that was the method I had meant but all I could come up with was the phrase Teabagging ( don’t google it☹️, heard it recently on a comedy sketch) and was not about to use that phrase! I will look up KZbin tutorials I think, although I may chickenpox when push comes to shove 😂
