Hi Sally, Your post was just what I needed this morning! Focussing on joy can insulate us from fear and give us space to breathe. I supported Pete in the last election and hope to see him run again soon. His calm, reasoned, unflappable approach to difficult issues is one I hope to be able to emulate. Hi Sally, you popped up on my feed this morning & I’m glad that I checked you out. Not easy having a child with a disability/spectrum. Not everyone is kind. I have had to homeschool because the school was not a healthy environment for my boy. Like you, finding joy in the small things is what helps me like cross stitch, knitting & crochet among other things. Loved the message.

I enjoy your videos so much! Chatty and unhurried, inspirational words about JOY and politically encouraging without focusing on a particular party. Thank you for the great tip when using fuzzy floss with one leg of the stitch DMC. Your sweater is gorgeous. I have had very good success using gussets in sewing. I'm anxious to see how that goes in knitting. Your knitting is beautiful. I'm struggling with my current crochet project - and amigurumi octopus, mostly because the yarn splits and it's cotton and so hard to get the hook into the stitches - so I can sympathize. I love the color of your bag - and I'm sure it will bring you joy every time you use it. Looking forward to next time! Hugs
