It’s so good to have you back! You talk about the resilience of you and your neighbors even when grief is ever present, how strong all of you are after such devastation. Will continue to pray for you and your community and for people like your husband who are working long and hard to restore what has been torn apart.🪡🪡

Been supporting World Central Kitchens for years. I'm glad Jose came in and helped. I'm in Appalachia Ohio...I've been giving to your area is there anything you and your family need that we can send. Being Appalachia i know exactly what you are talking about we take care of each other. We don't take more than we n need and we take care of each other.

Kim, so glad to see you. I am looking forward to your plan with Gary Parr from Fiber Talk. Your comments about the destruction and human loss was heartbreaking, Happy that you are open for business to provide some sense of normalcy for your workers and customers.

So appreciate you sharing and thankful your damage was not severe, I sent several packages of warm clothes, duct tape, pillows etc. I kept hearing it was far worse than what they were showing on the news. I just watched a video (10/14) of a Marine being interviewed, his troop was now in the area (I can't remember the exact location) helping the communities, and they were sending more troops.

Kim, I really wish I could be at Cross Stitch & Crafts today to talk with you, but I had too much going on. (Amie does have my orders for the exclusives for relief of Marshall, NC.) Those of us in East Tennessee know how hard it is for our neighbors here in East Tennessee. When we see the devastation on the North Carolina side of the mountain, it really breaks our hearts. As bad as it is on our side, it seems worse on your side.

The good news you brought forth is pure happiness! The losses experienced by you and your community weigh heavily in my heart. I have made a couple of donations to the WCK, both in Ashville and Florida. Now it is time to support the animal rescues. Good to hear you are able to open the retail end of the shop and web orders continue. Best if all, you were not swept away! Blessings!❤

Your area has been such a special place for me since I first visited in the late 1990’s. I have revisited there many times. One time I visited your shop. I’m heartbroken over what all of you and that beautiful area has had done to it. If I were closer I would surely come and help. I wish I knew a legitimate source to donate to for you guys. If you know of one that has been true with the people down there, please let me know. My prayers are with you guys. I’m praying for the strength of the mountain people to not be moved! God bless you all!

Still watching, only half way through but wanted to stop and say thank you for sharing with us today. A few of we flosstubers are wondering if you have customers who have lost their stash? We’d like to organize a match system to match a stitcher who wants to gift stash to a stitcher who needs. When it’s time, of course

Oh my goodness! I was so relieved to see this on KZbin!! I had messaged a few people on IG to see if anyone had word on you, Everette and the shop. I couldn't bear the thought of you loosing Sassy Jacks after all that the two of you had put into it!! You have really been on my mind and I certainly didn't think any kind of normal communication was possible. My heart is just so sad for everyone in all of the areas that are sufering and experiencing loss because of Helene. May the love and peace of God be with ALL those affected.😢❤🧡 Love from Knoxville
