I'm in Colorado. I'm awful sorry for your loss. The one and only time I was a paulbearer was for my grandma. I was about five years past 32. I have long admired the sulky reds. I wish I could work up the courage to make myself a project bag. So discouraging that your surgery didn't work. You are awesome for not letting it get you down as much as you have been through.❤

I will be lifting you up in my prayers as you prepare to have yet another surgery. I do love seeing all the beautiful stitching that you always show. I finished "This is Christmas" by Raising the Roof several years ago and gave it to my youngest daughter. It is such a beautiful and whimsical Christmas stitch and reminds me of The Grinch movie. I hope you recover and get to attend the Barefoot Retreat. I will not be able to attend this time as I working for a coworker that had to have surgery. Stacy, my deepest condolences on the loss of your beloved grandmother. You were lucky to have her for so long, but it's never long enough. Sending big hugs. Also wishing you better days healthwise, and may the rest of 2025 be wonderful. I love seeing pics of your doggies. So glad your dog has his own carriage now and can still go on walks. Your stitching looks wonderful. The "dead tree" pattern is fantastic, and looks great in the floss and fabric colours you choose. Those Sulky reds look delightful, and 32 count is my go to fabric, although I just finished a piece on 36 and really enjoyed it, and am currently working on 27ct. It's all good lol. I’m so sorry for the loss of your grandmother, they are gifts for sure. Great projects. I’ve stitched the Shabby Winter Calendar and it turned out so good. My husband had shoulder replacement surgery last June and it’s a big one. He’s had both knees and a hip replaced along with 6 plates and numerous screws to rebuild his pelvis, the shoulder was by far his biggest. He’s back at the gym daily, takes yoga and boxes an hour a day using our Oculus. He has no regrets

I would love to stitch that patriotic one for my sister in-law. She grew up on a farm, and her dad drove the red tractors and other farm equipment. There’s always been a big rivalry between green (John Deere) or red (International Harvester). My Grandpa farmed and was an IH guy too. Anyway, cute chart!! Also, before I forget, I’m with you on the dead trees! I don’t know what it is about them, but I LOVE them! I love living trees too, of course, but … you know! 😄 Also love that project bag! I’m glad to see more projects being stitched with Sulky threads. They have such beautiful colors. I like using them in 32 count fabric. I need to shop for a new project bag but 3 of our local needlework stores here in Illinois have closed. So sad. Hope you can make it to the retreat. I’m already planning on getting a stroller for my GSD when she has trouble getting around. She has dysplasia and was shot in the back right leg and dumped in the desert when she was about 2 and had 5 corrective surgeries. This is before I rescued her from a local shelter. I’m sorry about your grandmother. Love your projects.

Your physical challenges that you have been dealing with for so long never seem to change your caring, happy personality, which amazes me. I really love the varigation in the Quaker stitch! I enjoyed seeing all your projects. I’m so sorry about your grandmother. I will pray for a recovery on your shoulder. I loved seeing your fur baby in the stroller. I have a ten year old shepherd with hip problems. He does very well on his vitamins and pretty much stays out of pain or much limping. His vet says he has a good strong heart! My other shepherds only lived to 7 years old. He’s my oldest living one. We had a little dog that got down in the hips and she used to ride around the farm with my husband in the Gator in the passenger seat. Cutest sight your ever saw! Love the red sulky, I do one red thread so would make good use of it. Very pretty project bag.

Sorry for your loss. I sometimes mark the top with a stitch or 2 in the selvage, but always keep my needle-minder in the upper right corner, and therefore never turn my fabric. Condolences on your grandmother, she sounded amazing! I loved seeing your older pup. Having had a shepard mix its hard to see them once they get dysplasia. A vote for the Halloween piece! Sulky, 32 here in northern california

Sorry your shoulder surgery was unsuccessful! I've thought about getting an enclosed stroller to take my kitties for a walk, otherwise they don't get outdoors. I'm sorry for the loss of your grandmother. I've never used Sulky on 32 count fabric project bag Minnesota

Glad to see you back, sorry for your loss and the bad news about your shoulder. Project bag, 32. I think you should start the winter praiseworthy stitch, It is cold here in New York so I guess that is why I am more drawn to that one. I have Black cat manor that has a tiny start, hope to get it back out when I am back in the mood for Halloween stitching. Keep on stitching, hope you are well enough to make your retreat.
