OMG Jessie!!!!!! I’m so sorry about Thor. I understand how you feel. Dogs don’t live long enough. I had to put my Boston Terrier, Bam, down April 2 of this year. He was 14 and a half years old. I got him when he was weened. His ashes are home as well. I made a spot just above my stitchy spot because he used to lay next to my feet while I stitched. I also took his name tag and glued a magnet on the back to use it for a needle minder. And what a beautiful babygirl!!!! So precious!!!

I'm glad to see you back! I'm so sorry to hear about Thor. We lost our basset when our baby girl was 5 months and it was so hard. We still miss him. ❤️ Your plans to stay ahead on In This Moment are good! I'm also happy to know you're prepared for less stitchy time. I’m so sorry for your loss, this brought back so many memories, the family fur baby crossed the rainbow bridge when I was 9. She also had cancer which was cut out first and then came back. I hope she didn’t suffer. She was 13 before she passed. I was at school that day and I never got to say goodbye properly. I’m sat here balling my eyes out for you! Hi Jessie, I stopped watching at the life stuff due to the comments I read. Ever since I lost my mom I can't watch loss videos because it takes me a long time to recover. I want to say sorry for your loss though, pets are a very big part of a family and we mourn their passing. I really love your Paula Vaughan August quilt piece, the colours and design are just spectacular. My mom stitched several Paula Vaughan pieces for me back in the 90s when we both discovered counted cross stitch, which she framed and gifted to me. They hang lovingly in my home and remind me of her every day. I have two hardcover Paula Vaughan books that Leisure Arts published back in the day and several leaflets. I'm going to go through them and pick a pattern to stitch. It's going to bring back a lot of beautiful memories. Thank you for sharing this.

Oh my goodness. My tears are flowing in regards to Thor. I am so sorry. It brought back the memories of our Sam and the very hard day that we too went through. I will never forget that day because not only was it the saddest day but it was also a happy day because we found out later that same day that our daughter was having a baby girl in September. And today my sad tears for you turned happy again when we got to meet your Baby Girl! She is absolutely beautiful and so precious and you are a glowing Mommy! Thank you so much for sharing and I am so happy for you and Danny! Congratulations! And of course I love your stitching and I have missed you and I am thinking of you and Thor. The painting is awesome! And our baby girl will be 3 this September and she is our very precious and only grandchild. They change our world and we are so thankful we get to share her world!

Jessie Marie, thank you so much for sharing Thor's story and also for sharing the video of your beautiful Babygirl!! She's so adorable!! I do have to tell you that my husband and I had the same experience almost exactly with our furbaby, Ozzy.. He was a toy poodle and 14 years old. We gave him his last best day on March 4th of 2020 and had him put to sleep on March 5th. It was the hardest thing we have ever had to do. He was such a good dog. And I still cry at times. And I sobbed when you were talking about Thor. I will keep you and Danny in my prayers for the peace that passes all understanding whenever you think of Thor. God bless you, Danny and Baby Does Stuff. Thank you for sharing your life with us.

Wow! Such a whirlwind of activity & life changing events. A big congrats on your new addition! She is precious & you seem to be very comfortable & capable in your new mommy role ❤️. We have experienced having to say goodbye to 4 of our canine family members over the years, and we have 3 dogs currently, ages almost 14, almost 12, & 6. So we know this will be in our future again. Oh, Jessie!!! I was crying right along with you as you talked about Thor! I’ve never had a human child, I tell my patients that my children are “fur-covered, four-legged, and have speech impediments”.... they ARE your babies, and you DO miss them!! I miss my cats something fierce, and am not looking forward to the day my dogs are ready to go.... my mom passed in April last year. She did not have COVID, however I was not allowed to see her, be with her when she passed, even after she died... I had to wait 2 days to see her body... I am a nurse, I was her caregiver, and I’m still traumatized by the whole series of events... speaking as a Labor and Delivery nurse, it sounds like Baby Girl’s birth story is one you will always remember... it all goes way too fast!! So glad you are back, stay well, and see you in your next video!! ❤️❤️

SO SO SORRY about the loss of Thor...losing a pet is sometimes harder than losing a human family member, because there is less you can do for them.... We put 2 of our cats to sleep in the same week in October... My heart hurts for you. I still stop when they come to mind, and shed a tear. The fact that you loved on him and provided for him was the best life he could have ever had. Thank you for being so open....and sharing this. Sometimes watching other flosstubers we can forget how real life is for others.... 2018, 2019, and 2020 were all pretty sucky for me..... So incredibly hard to let them go we love them they are family. I had to put my basset hound down five years ago and the thing of it still gets me sometimes she was 14 and she did have cancer of her spleen. My heart breaks for you and my prayers go out for you it takes time to let go and grieve appropriately. I'm so very sorry to hear about Thor. I always chuckled when I heard him snoring in your videos. My brother and his family did something similar with the painting- they had a German Shorthaired Pointer named Dori who lived to be 15. My oldest nephew is 11, so his 4 kids never had a life without her. But when she passed, they had someone do a painting of her, and it hangs proudly right as you come in the door. I will always remember how wonderful she was with the kids (even though pointers are not supposed to be good with kids, she was always so gentle with them). And Baby Girl is so cute! She is very active, and doing well holding her head up at 3 months! She's adorable and I hope we get to see her from time to time to see how she is growing. :)

You were the best mama Thor could ever ask for. He’s still with you. Just not like you would want him to be I had to put mine down the first week of January. It still hurts like he**. Don’t ever feel bad for crying or being sad. You are right. He was your first baby. That means more than some people realize. That painting you have - you have to laugh. He’s so adorable. 💜💜 This apparently gets better ... I just don’t know when.

Sorry about your dog , my friend just had to put her dog down couple weeks ago, than last her dad had to put his dog down. His dog was the first puppy of the dog my friend had. So it was really hard. My dog is about 13 and she is not in the best of health... Love the baby she is so cute

Oh Jessie Baby Girl is so precious. Treasure every moment as time flies so fast. My boy is 11 now and it still sometimes feels like he was only born last week.
