I've seen a lot of reviews, but I gotta say I really like the way you do a review. Very in depth, and it doesn't feel like 'another tech site, saying the same stuff', but like a real consumer talking to other potential consumers - but still keeping the level of details very high. Also nice with the small comparisons when you talk about a specific positive/negative, because it helps us get that overall felling about the device. You got a new subscriber! :-)

Minh Cong Bui I think they do great reviews and they aren't as one sided as some people, but there are definitely things that they give the iPhone credit for, which is undeserved. They gloss over legitimate complaints about the device as if they don't matter because it's an iPhone, and then rag on the exact same complaints if they come up in an android device. I'm not saying they're mean to android, I like the criticality, but they should be just as critical to iPhone, which they aren't.

This is the best video to just sit down and watch all the way through when deciding if you want to get an Apple device. With each thing you go through, I make a note in the back of my head saying "Yes, this is important" or "Nope, this doesn't really bother me." Recently my taste for devices has become much simpler. Why? Because that's how my phone is set up. I use 2 widgets on my Android device, which is an S6 btw. My two most important features in a phone: Battery life and user experience. I want my phone to last all day with heavy usage, especially during those days I use the camera or GPS a lot. I also want my user experience to be fluid and quick. I want it clean and I want software updates. I am done with the guessing of when Verizon will release Android version X.X for my S6. My secondary features I want: Build quality, camera, and display. If I take into consideration what I really want most out of my phone: I'm either buying an iPhone (model #) Plus, or a midrange Android device. 2015 Moto G anybody? If I'm going with a more inexpensive Android device, I want it to be the best one out there with clean software and timely updates. The Moto G also has amazing battery life. That's all I have to say for now.

Just wanna point out one thing you said about having to scroll to search for apps, you missed out (or don't know) the fact that you can simply swipe down on the screen which brings up spotlight search and type the first 2 letters of the app you want and it will bring it up, so you don't have to scroll search for apps.

Hi there, Just wanne say that you do say in the video that if you don't know where the app is that you wan't you would have to search for it...Clue Seph respond is fair, just swipe down en type first letter or 2.. OR like i have, i do not use spotlight but i have all my apps in different maps..social,music,video,entertainment,sport etc..i got all my maps in 1 screen.. Swiping to the 2nd screen upon immediately unlocking the iphone doesn't work because the icon zoom in animation in still running. It won't let you change screens during that split second while the icons are zooming in. Also a bug I found (not apple's fault but worth mentioning) is that if facebook is open/running in the background and you're trying to listen to music on bluetooth headphones, the volume out the ear buds will be about half their normal volume. If you swipe closed the facebook app, the volume instantly jumps back up to normal volume.

Hey Floss, I've been with Android for years and I thought about finally getting the iPhone 6 Plus. The back button thing totally threw me off. I went to the store to try the iPhone 6 Plus and it took me like 5 minutes to figure out how to go back. I'm used to pressing that back button on the bottom of the phone. It definitely does take time getting used to. I'll probably still get the 6 Plus. It's definitely different.

Most entertaining review - love it! One clarification... Don't think of the iOS task switching window as applications running in the background. It is really just a list of previously accessed apps - since iOS doesn't really multitask as you said. Because of that there's no need to exit out from all those apps to save memory or battery life - iOS manages all that for you. Another reason to go with an iOS device so you don't need to worry about that. Amazing review - I like your real world approach and lookin forward to more.

Omg. I've been debating on either getting the iPhone 6 / plus or the galaxy s5 ... & in all honesty im tired of android. All the galaxies are the same in my opinion. I've been with team android since 2010 & I just want something more simple, classy & luxurious. The iPhone 6 looks more high class to me & I can't wait to purchase it. & the keyboard part I truly understand what you mean. I made less mistakes on my friends' iPhone typing than on my galaxy. Android emojis sucks unless you download the ikeyboard app which takes up storage. smh the battery thing is an issue for me because im use to opening the back part of my phone but f*** it lol if anything I'll sell it for more than half I paid to get it get the S5... thank you for this review I'm definitely purchasing the iPhone 6 or 6 plus😀

Get an HTC m9 in 2 weeks...I have the HTC m8 and its so fast and classy looking...Samsung phones all look the same and they do get boring fast...I would get so embarrassed when I pulled out my galaxy note 3 and my friends iPhone was WAY faster than it...I don't have that problem anymore😉

I'm a Samsung cell phone user who is about to upgrade. I'm also a bells and whistles techie who has every Apple product except the phone. I touched the 6+, ran through the videos on youtube, but still can't decide if I should by the 6+ or the Galaxy Note Edge. I recently purchased the Edge to my daughter. Have to agree. I do use swipe, swipe palm for screen shot, air view, voice (sleep)activation, the nfc features, s-pen, have a spare battery I got on amazon for $10, multi window, floating windows n widgets and s-pen.... i use these everyday at sumpoint. Sd card is a must

All I can say is I love Android. I've had 3 different iphones and I simply became bored with it. Plus it's to restrictive. It took a friend of mine 2 years to get me to try a Android phone. But once I did I love it to death! I'll never go back to iPhones. I can do so much on my note 4 and the display the camera and the S-pen is simply awesome! Oh I also forgot multiple tasking. I love this phone. Oh I also forgot I have the Note edge which is clearly the best phone I ever had. If you want a simple phone you want a iPhone. If you want a all out beast of a phone that you can make your own, you want a note 4 or note edge. Peace.

Hey Floss, a good way to save space and cut down on the apps across a bunch of pages... Press and hold your finger on an app until they all start shaking-> drag said app onto another app-> it will create a folder which then you can name(ie social for Facebook, Instagram etc)-> repeat for all "similar" apps. Not sure if that helps much with the comparison between the android OS and ios in how they do their home screens. I haven't seen android do that, aside from the LG G3, which you can create folders like on the iPhone.

I'm still getting used to mine after being a long term android user but am enjoying it. You're dead right about specs and everything else, it's real world usability that counts. You can search for apps in spotlight. Also you can respond to messages without leaving the app your in by pulling down the notification. If your watching a video; it pauses but resumes as soon as you hit send. Not to argue, just throwing it out there. All in all I liked the video.

I'm an ex-android user and I must agree with your points. They are very unbiased and thought out. It took me a while to get used to not having the back button. But once you get into the Eco-system it's kinda hard to go back
