I know I'm late to the party here but a lot has happened since this was released. Everything said about sound quality.....especially bass......is still on point. They're one of the best sounding open style buds. The biggest selling point for me is I can't wear my Airpods Pro (2) for any period of time without getting pretty bad ear aches. These on the other hand are the most comfortable ear buds I've ever worn and zero ear aches. On to the "a lot has changed" part. My biggest complaint when I bought these was no multi point functionality. I could switch between my iPhone and iPad but I had to do it manually through the Bose app. The latest firmware however adds multi point connectivity and improves connectivity all around. So make sure you update the firmware ASAP if you buy a pair of these.

I wasn't sure how I'd feel about these earbuds, especially considering their price. My primary concern was that my ears are sensitive to typical earphones and headphones. Usually, I can't stand having anything in or on my ears for more than 30 minutes max. However, these earbuds have completely changed the game in terms of comfort. I've been wearing them for over 5 hours now, and once they're in place, I forget they're even there. As for sound quality, while I'm aware they may not rival Bose's traditional earbuds, I must say the sound from these is excellent, including the bass. Having the traditional push-button control on each earbud is a nice touch. I firmly believe in the saying, "You get what you pay for," and for me, these earbuds are worth every penny. Kudos to Bose for delivering a fantastic and innovative product that checks all the boxes for me. I throughly recommend these earbuds.

I've made numerous purchases based on his recommendation, and it's usually been on point. If I'm going to keep it a brick with y'all, there's NOT much that he reviews that I couldn't buy... I run marathons. I regularly use open ear buds. I have the Bose on right now. I'm going to return them. First the cons. The price it too much. The app is unstable and loses connection, which was the same problem I had with the Ultra Quiets. They're horrible for calls. Anyone I talk to can't hear me because of background noise. They hear background noise more than me. Finally, my Shockz Open Fit are louder. Sometimes I need louder. These can't do that. My shockz are $180 too. The pros. They are the most comfortable open ear buds I ever wore. Awesome design. I can keep them on all day running, and no problems. The battery life is dope. I like the buttons. The pros aren't enough for me to keep these. I wanted to like them enough to keep, but they ain't worth no $300. I needed them to work well, but they don't. I hope they come out with an improved version using the same comfortable design. I appreciate what you do Floss. Thanks.😮

Both ear buds were charged to 100%. I took them out and listened to music for sometime. The battery on the left went down to 90% while right showed 70%. After some more listening, the right went down to 50% while left was at 70%. Any one experiencing this?

Love Bose but the Shokz offerings are far less expensive and work great. Just got the new open pro 2 model. Also works great. Check Flossy reviews of those. For great sound I have the AirPod Pro 2 and the Bose Ultra earbuds. I love all of these.

I really want to want to want the Shokz. Their bone conduction was a game changer for me. I don’t really care about hearing my environment, but my ear canal is sensitive and small, and everything hurts, no matter the material, and even extra small tips; but carrying over ears is such a pain. These open ear Shokz looked like a great thing, but I tried them on at the store, and they do not stay in my left ear at ALL. I keep going back to try them hoping it will reveal itself to be a fluke but so far no luck. These Bose are on my radar, but the price is Woooooo ngl. Thanks for the review, Floss! I finally finished your video. I bought both the Bose and Shokz within 2 days of each other, and I like both for different reasons. This was my assessment of them Shokz Pros: Easy to put on. Louder. Bose Pros: Awesome sound quality. Incredible fit. Shokz Cons: Worse sound quality. Not as comfortable. Touch controls are trash. Bose Cons: Not loud enough for some situations. I weigh loudness pretty high so I’ll be switching between these two earbuds for a long time.

I only buy electronics AFTER your recommendation. You are the go-to expert! I've been wanting these anyway because they are Bose, and I know anything they make is worth the purchase. I have the ultra quiet buds and now the open buds... after using them at work, I have to say they are 100% better than the jawbone I've used and gave away! It reminds me of the wire head phones back in the day when you drape them over your ears and let them dangle. My fear is one dropping out, but after it finds its happy spot, it is great! How can Bose fix their FACE to price these headphones at $300.00. No multipoint connection, no in ear detection, and no wireless charging. You can purchase a cheaper pair of ear clip buds at a much cheaper price. Bose IS NOT the first to design clip on buds👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

If you like to talk a lot on the phone for regular calls DO NOT BUY THEM. I have them and everything sounds better and clearer than any open ear buds. Now, on regular calls you can't hear who is calling well unless there is almost no noise around in an environment where there is a lot of noise. Otherwise they sound much better than the Sony link buds and any other open ear buds. Hearing the phone call is a 3/10. In a library, office or quiet environment, you can hear the calls. On phone calls via WhatsApp, for example, they sound much better. At the gym the air conditioning broke and they turned on commercial fans and I still heard the music well. I like them because they don't fall out of your ears when doing exercises like those that go inside the ear.

I picked these up with a credit that I had on Amazon. Cost My 27 bucks. At that price point they are a steal. In a quiet room they are both comfortable and good for podcasts, background music while working, working out or for Zoom/Teams calls. They don’t fall out while working out. I just tried them on a plane ride and they are just not good, even at full volume.

I have to add since no one really talks about the glaring issues with bose products lately is the terrible and pretty consistent issues with connectivity and the app issues. A good 25% of the time, one or both headphones will stop recognizing the touch controls and you will be forced to put them back in the case for a few seconds and hope it fixes itself. The modes you set on the app are supposed to be remembered since last use but only works half the time at best. Sometimes the volume will be out of sync in the new gen quiet comforts including the QC2 and Ultra. The sound quality is decent but for all the headaches I'd suggest a different brand now. Coming from a long time Bose fan.

I'm wondering if it's a weird "device specific" bug (if that's even possible 😂) because since launch... Maybe that will change because it's still too early to tell, I've never had any connection issues with my Bose QC ultra on my daily driver, but when lending them over to my dad, they kept dropping out of his phone, even though I made sure to turn Bluetooth off on mine. His is a Xaomi and Mines a Motorola. It's very weird and it doesn't make any sense. So I'm guessing that despite the terrible quality control issues I guess it's still possible a small percentage of us using a Bose product might be very lucky. Really hope they fix it though!
