Hey Dylan. Thanks for the review. When you give it away, please note the sluice sections are not made to be disassembled, red print in instructions 😁 Its very durable for assembly and use, but the slotted button connection could pull apart or split under the high tension force needed to take apart. We did customer assembly for lower shipping cost and printing capabilities. USPS really charges alot for longer boxes and prices are going up July 1. Heavy pans!!!!
@brainretardant3 ай бұрын
I bought a 3d printed sluice once and the high heat in my vehicle made it sag. What resin you using?
@MillerProspecting3 ай бұрын
Hey, yeah no plans on taking it apart, I will be paying the high shipping rates for 28" sluice UGH, lol. I thought it was a smart idea to make it in parts, I really like the sluice, a little super glue, and will be perfect 😁
@whatfull993 ай бұрын
@@MillerProspecting Yes, you can gap the back side after assembly and put any cyanacrolate (super glue) on it, then use flat surface to make sure it is together and dries nice and straight. But also works fine not glued. I have one in use not glued and one glued. The 'U' shaped connection keeps it from leaking water at the joints.

Yeah works as intended, as I said in the video the hardest part for most sluices is the micro gold and this one seems to do a really good job catching it.
