Thanks for the info! So many videos about flow forged, rotary forged etc and this is the best video out there. Thanks so much👍

One thing you're not mentioning is that the face/spokes of the rim are still cast, only like 2/3 of the barrel gets stretched and that part is stronger, so a third of the barrel is cast while the rest is flow formed. You're making it sound like the whole wheel is flow formed and stronger, its not, only a fraction of it is, the spokes are still cast and weak compared to forged rims.

We've done countless videos on this and covered much of that in great length. Thanks for watching and commenting, Steve!

The wheels all come from a forged part: even the blanks for a monoblock/forged wheel comes from a cast blank. So, the wheel quality, no matter type, is based off the original blanks being used. If the blank if of poor quality, then so is the wheel, even if forged monoblock, etc. Flow forming is not forged either, unless it is cut out of a blank and then flow formed the rest of the way, but I don't see what the point would be of that.

Would flow formed wheels crack with 30 profile tyres? For normal day driving?

Through a dealer! We have a locator on our website. Thanks so much for the support!

FYI the locator doesn’t seem to work for me at 15317. Gives me NTB of all places. Multiple NTBs and they do not sell your wheels. I found other places on my own in the area that sell your wheels and they were not listed.

Use steel as a wheel material for the street !!! No more cracks, plus anyone can fix them !!
@konigwheels Жыл бұрын
Steel is VERY HEAVY. Think about how much weight that would add per corner.
@elayhohnson2536 Жыл бұрын
Yes steel is heavy, but not as heavy as spend $4000 to replace OEM aluminum wheels when the aluminum wheels crack or chip.
